So much for Bill Ayers being "a guy who lives in the neighborhood" and Wright "not being the Wright I knew"

Not that Bill Ayers
The White House warns that many names that may appear familiar — and controversial — do not in fact refer to the most famous people to carry those names. Jeremiah Wright is on the list, but it's not the president's former pastor. This Michael Jordan is not the basketball player. This Michael Moore is not a filmmaker. The William Ayers who took a group tour of the White House isn't the former radical from Chicago who figured so prominently in the 2008 campaign. And the Angela Davis on the list has a different middle initial than the activist and former fugitive.

The White House could have avoided some of that sort of confusion by providing more information on the visitors, such as an employer name and the city they hail from. For example, is the Shawn Carter who attended a poetry reading the same one who goes by Jay-Z and had campaigned for Obama?

"This unprecedented level of transparency can sometimes be confusing rather than providing clear information," a White House special counsel, Norm Eisen, wrote on the White House blog.

Malik Shabazz of the Black Pnather Party is on that list'

He must of dropped by the White House to thank Pres Obama and Eric Holder for letting his thugs off the hook for voter intimidation in Philly during the 2008election

...was this post meant as a joke?

edit; if not i'm missing the story hereThis is most likely the result of being politically uninformed.

This is the case with most liberals and young Obama supporters.

The real Obama has never really been properly vetted and reported on.

This is due to an Obama friendly, agenda driven media and biased journalism.

You mean the list of people Obama is hanging out with does not make you all hopey and changey?

I wonder how the liberal media and the libs would be reacting if Pres Bush had KKK members over to the Whote House

Being politicly uninformed, why on earth would you say that?

What I'm not getting is the fact that the quoted section in the OP says that these are not the same people that you would think they are, unless I'm missing something really rather obvious (quite likly lol)

As always, White House visits are for sale. Six-figure contributors to the Republican party were always welcome at the Bush White House.

By the way, Dubya held five Ramadan Dinners at the White House, in which he invited prominent Islamic leaders to dinner. Doubt that it was ever mentioned on Fox News.

Well seeing as Fox News didn't comment on Obama hosting the party what is your beef with them?? George Bush held 5 dinners and non were covered by Fox. Obama is hosting a dinner this year and guess what IT IS NOT BEING COVERED BE FOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what is your point Gabs....???????!?!?!?!?!!?!??

Fox has played fair to BOTH the presidents by NOT mentioning the dinners!!!!!!!

I mean come on what are the chances that the Obama's happen to know 2 Jeremiah Wrights, 2 Bull Ayers, etc..etc...

It is soo beyond them to think that maybe just maybe some of us out here don't belive their line of BS. Obama and his press secretary Gibbs really need to realize that we are not STUPID...................

All I can say is, if ya run with snakes, you will be perceived to be one.....and if it slithers and wiggles, looks and acts like a snake, most likely it's a snake.

Fair enough...so why should the White house lie about who these people really are?

and as an aside...why on earth where they invited in the first place, known what damage they could do, surly some PR guru rasied that issue...

Most of Obama's friends, supporters and acquantainces seem to be either marxist, racist or criminals and have a long history of hatred for America and western culture.

Do you have ANYTHING in the way of evidence to prove your assertions? Or are you just another of the run-of-the-mill, scrawl-in-your-own-crap-crazies that pass for a conservative these days? Barry Goldwater, nor Dick Nixon, nor Ronald Reagan would recognize the monkey-house that is now the GOP, nor would they be viable candidates for any Republican race...their conservative cred simply would not pass muster with the current crop of crazies running the GOP into the ground. Y'all keep up the good work!

You keep saying that Bully and I don't hear anyone arguing with you. I find it odd that when Obama is criticized you throw back insults about the GOP when not alot of people here are going to disagree. Shows how shallow you're argument is. Comparing Obama to how bad the GOP is only further proves the point.

At least I HAVE an argument, which is more than anyone on the right can say. Secondly, where did I make any comparison between Obama and the poop-fight-in-a-monkey-house that is the GOP? Not here...But now that you mention it, compared to the GOP, Obama and his administration are like unto a fresh breeze on a spring morn in comparison to the eight years of the Bush administration. Bear in mind, that that is not setting the bar very high at all.

But y'all keep it up. In the end, we'll see the GOP implode completely or it will become a political force that will leave us looking back with kindness on Nazi Germany in the days leading up to WW II.

Funny, you responded to a thread that was commenting on the company Obama kept at the White House and the lengths to which the Administration would go to cover this up with diatribe on the state of the GOP.

Bully dearie, do you EVER see anything wrong with your party? you always save your comments for the Republicans.

Does it bother you that the Democrat party of old is no more? it used to really care about "it's people" now they only care about Unions, spreading Socialism that REALLY will take away our FREEDOMS and has radical American haters being entertained at the white house..they have tax cheats, corrupted congress critters out the wahoo running our country..does any of that bother you Dems?

is that what you believe in or none of that matters so long as you can brag there is a Democrat that has the Power..
