How exactly does the scoring system work? Is it just 'Most wins wins'? Surly it would be fairer to have a 'win to loss difference'

Taking yourself and I for example,

By the 'Most wins wins' we are even
Noir 54-61
Emmett 54-33

But by a 'Win to loss difference' you are well ahead of me with
Emmett 21
Noir -7 (lol)
