How is this helping America, the unemployed, and the US economy?

Seems Obama is more interested in glowing press coverage then actually accomplishing things

It sounds tailor-made for a GOP ad:

Unemployment hits 9.4 percent. President Obama flies to France.

Joblessness reaches 9.7 percent. Obama jets off to Denmark.

The rate of those out of work soars to 10.2 percent. Obama packs his bags for Japan, Singapore, China and South Korea.

Faced with the worst domestic economy in decades, the president has responded -- by setting a record for foreign travel. An Asian swing that began Thursday will bring his total this year to 20 countries in eight trips, according to CBS News's Mark Knoller, official statistician of the White House press corps.

That easily bests the previous record-holder, George H.W. Bush, who hit 14 countries in his first year. By the time he returns next week, Obama will have spent more than 12 percent of his presidency overseas -- and he still has another trip or two in the works for this year.

Remember a few months ago when he stated his Stimulus was working the same day the unemployment went up and they said there was a mix up in the WH, maybe there has been a real mix up :laugh2:

Anyone who paid any attention to this man's history in politics shouldn't be surprised.

In the Illinois senate he voted Present 130 times.

In the US Senate he was on the job 1 year and then left to run for President.

He has't finished anything, he simply moves on.

Unfortunatlly for him and us, this is a 4 year position that he can't leave. He can however refuse to make any big decisions and simply "show up" for press conferances.

All while spending hard earned tax payer dollars skipping all over the globe.

OF course he needs to travel to these countries, he needs to see first hand how they have managed to place their unemployment into the high teens and low twenties, so he can return here and continue his work in making this country equal to all others.

I missed this. The 'bright side' is that the MSM is starting to go after him. Even CNN had a negative panel on yesterday. That wall? He's about to hit it.

It only took them a year to realize how worthless he is.

The rise of this neophyte tells me there is more to this than BO and the
first "not quite white" prez.
