the sad thing is, most folks will assume the condition of Detroit was faked....but no, it is very easy to find locations like the ones he used for this video......

I've been here a few months now - haven't been downtown...but think I'll grab my camera someday soon and make the trip (after I get my carry permit)

It is a real shame and a poignant testimony to the long term impact of allowing labor unions to dictate over employers. Initially, labor unions were a timely concept and promoted the safety and security of American workers. Sadly, however, like many good ideas, labor unions spiraled out of control and became multi-tentacled monsters that have drained the life out of employers and municipalities.

It also points out the long term impact of too much government providing too much to too many people. It is a powerful preview of what is yet to come throughout this nation if we don't halt the growth of government programs. A two hour documentary on television would be a prudent way to show the American people. That way viewers can see the net result of letting the government do more than they should for the people.

Personally, I think it would be a great idea to boycott union made products, opting instead to support small businesses, particularly little mom and pop companies, even if it cost more to do so. Just look for the union label and just say no. :poke:
