Side note here - the husband credits the "hand of God" in bringing his wife and baby back to life....

It's interesting to point out he didn't credit Darwin, natural selection or "random chance"..... just sayin..

Well, I'm figuring the doc had a bit to do with it. Remember, God isn't there to do it all for you. You know, I think that's part of why there aren't any of the big time miracles anymore, people just seem to expect them these days.

My thought on this is that God acted in aid with the doctors. Remove either from it, and there would have been no chance.

Yep, God's hand guiding the doctors. The doctor gave up on the mother within reasonable time, then tried to save the baby. With that, the mother's heart started again, then the baby was brought back. Great Doctors with great help.

Cool story,

but how I do hate when such things are credited to gods,

A plane crashes and everyone survives 'miracle of god'
A plane crashes and everyone dies 'god moves in odd ways'
=/
