View Full Version : Are You An Early or A Late?

I'm an early, nearly always. I wake up early; am usually at the health club with the person opening the door at 5, after reading the paper already; I get to school about 1.5 hours before the start. I've always been like this. Drove my mother, (a late) crazy.

Today, I drove myself a bit nutty. My god daughter is throwing a 25 anniversary surprise party at their club for her parents, my best friend and her husband. I thought the party began at 3:30, but at noon, thought I'd better look at the invitation. Good thing I did, said be there at 2.

I raced to the shower, makeup, hair, etc. Out to pick up the wrapping paper and card by 12:45. Still should hit the parking lot by 1:30 or so. Luckily I took a breath at the Hallmark store to check the invite one more time: Sunday, April 22, 2007. 24.5 hours early, would be embarrassing. :laugh2:

Late, except when I am picking up my daughter from school, etc. Then I'm usually early.

On the other hand, I am NOT a morning person. Darn that bus coming at 7:00.

Good point, Trigg. I'm usually on time if something starts at a reasonable hour, i.e., after 9 AM. :coffee:

I'm usually "on time." Not too early or too late. But I am a morning person. Waking up is such a happy thing to do! :)

I'm an early, to places at specific times that is. Never late.

However, I HATE to get up in the morning. I think the alarm clock was invented by one sadistic M-F'er.

Me too. It just always seems as though the best stuff to watch on TV comes on late at night.

I'm not a morning person but get a burst of energy at night which sucks cuz then I can't sleep and still have to get up at 6:30 every weekday morning. Almost always on time, don't like to get somewhere too early or too late.

TV? I haven't turned mine on in at least a week. Ugh.

I have cable, and I also get some high def channels as well. I REFUSE to watch ANY of the myriad of assinine sitcoms on broadcast TV. What a massive waste of power and air time. I watch the history channel, the learning channel, speed channel, PBS HD, Fox News, TCM, etc.. If I'm not learning something or otherwise relatively entertained, screw it. I'm on my computer more than I watch TV anyway.

TLC
History (sometimes)

Then, whatever I find flipping thru stations. I can absolutely live without TV.. Can't live without radio tho.

I don't watch tv much during the week. Normally just internet and work. Watch some on the weekends. Gona watch Sherman’s March on the history channel tonight. Looks really good. The channels I watch are basically, History, discovery, science, Discovery times, discovery health, military channel and sometimes CNN headline news, PBS, and Sci-Fi if theirs a horror movie on. MTV pimp my ride is okay and on a lot. TLC for the tattoo show.

Anybody past 30 is on the downslide Mr. P. At that point your body is degenerating faster than it regenerates.

I'm an early riser. Even on the weekends, getting up after 8 AM is anethema.

I'm usually early/on time to important things, late to not important things. The more important the thing is the earlier I am; the less important it is, the later I am.

Sorry dear... I meant to say 20.....

The impairment of the respiratory system can in turn affect the cardiovascular system. The cardiac output is lowered due to the increased resistance of the blood vessels in the musculature. This reduction in the blood flow decreases the oxygen uptake, making the body less able to deliver the necessary oxygen to the body tissues, because of the decreased lung capacity. This vital capacity diminishes after age 20 and is on a steady decline thereafter, unless the individual takes the proper steps. As we get older and become more sedentary in our habits, the decline increases.

I'll tell ya shattered, even when I was in my forties, I could eat nails and spit bullets. I don't really feel bad now either. I've always had physical jobs. I've stayed active, and I think that's the key.
