Love both them. I watch both shows, Real Time, and Bullshit!. Amazing points are always brought up on both, and they are both terribly funny.

My example of patriotism is Thomas Jefferson, not for being a Founder though. Back when he was penning the famous line, "All men are created equal", he was on his plantation, which, let's be honest, was loaded down with enslaved men. Now, Jefferson realized the hypocrisy of saying that all are created equal, only to use slavery.

The problem, though, was that the English were about to be breathing down their necks, and so, Jefferson freed his slaves, and started paying them regular wages, instead of starting a conflict that could have killed us before we even got started. He maintained his own moral compass, while at the same time giving up a fight he wanted to have, because it would have gotten us all killed.

Maher's version of America is to insult and attack anyone who has a different POV

If America is so bad, he should move to another country

Perhaps he should take his "act" to China, and see how long he can "perform" before he is taken away and tossed in a dark cell for an indefinite period of time

Of course he won't. He will not want to lose the money he makes smearing America. The same country that protects his freedom to openly smear America

P&T are simply the best. I saw them do that live in Vegas. Very moving.

 :lmao: :laugh2:

He has all Americans confused with the morons who sit in his audience or watch his show on tv.
