'The Lost Boys' star Corey Haim dead at 38; police suspect drug overdose

Eighties teen idol Corey Haim died Wednesday of an apparent drug overdose.
Haim, who has battled an addiction to prescription drugs for years, collapsed in his mother's Oakwood apartment just before 1 a.m.
"As he got out of bed, he felt a little weak and went down to the floor on his knees," Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said. His mother, Judy, called 911 at 12:53 a.m.
