Hope it passes, when schools aren't making money they accept fewer and fewer transfers and make you retake classes you've already had. It's all a game. Wish they had kept the hour limit tho, a lot of schools take advantage again for money.

FRANKFORT, Ky. — A bill to make it easier for community college students to transfer to four-year public universities cleared the Senate Education Committee on Thursday in a weaker — but satisfactory — form, the bill's original sponsor said.

“It's not as strong in parts of it,” Rep. Carl Rollins said of the committee's changes to House Bill 160. “But it does solve the problem.”

One change the committee made was deleting a provision in the House bill to require four-year schools to limit associate degrees to 60 credit hours and bachelor's degrees to 120 hours, replacing it with wording that would only encourage the four-year schools to do so.

Still, Rollins, D-Midway, said he's satisfied with the new version and believes that the full Senate and House will approve it.
