A comeback for George Bush?

Notice in this article that it says that more Americans still blame him for the bad economy even though Obama's spending numbers in 4 years will be more than Bush's in 8. I would love to read his book when it comes out.

Yeah, Bush couldnt do anything I liked except go after the murders of 9-11,
but his worst deeds pale in comparison to this ones intents.

Yeah, I miss Bush, we had a chance then, now who knows?

Best thing Bush did: In 2001 when facing a steep deficit brought on by financial scandals like Enron and Arthur Anderson and 9/11, he cut taxes. In 2002, the economy recovered.

Good things Bush 43 did:

* Cut taxes
* Clobber Afghani Taliban
* Win Iraq war (more than his Dad did)
* Appoint two excellent Supreme Court justices (plus one question mark)
* Prevent domestic terrorism after 9/11

Bad things Bush 43 did:

* Sign Campaign Finance "Reform"
* Let Afghani Taliban come back to some degree
* Sign budgets with huge spending increases
* Sign new Perscription Drug entitlement
* Sign first bailout bill

He was far from perfect - your basic RINO. But all things considered, he will be known in history as a "fairly good President" - far better for the country than either his predecessor or his successor.
