Music is often cited as a genre that separates generations with its diversity. But there is also timeless, classic music that brings generations together.
That is what happened Saturday at the Hollywood Bowl. My husband and I, both of our respective parents, my daughter and a friend of her all trekked to see Carole King and James Taylor.
It was remarkable to see how the power of music can enthrall the young and old. My daughter knew some of the songs as well as my mom and dad. Great music will alway be great music.

Gabby - really cool!!! Carole King's song "I Feel The Earth Move" was one of my favorites. When I fell head over heels in love with my first husband I played this song over and over....because that's how I felt.
