Downtown L.A. at night

I've just started playing with night photography a little bit. I took the 2 building pics last week in downtown L.A. before they told me I couldn't use a tripod. No one else around but the security guard and my little group (5).

The waterfall was with the camera on my backpack and my hand shimming the lens up.

I got kicked out the Americana Mall because my camera was too big without a permit. The permit takes a week or so to get if they issue it.

I didn't even notice the light until after I looked at the picture at home.

The building in the background of the 1st picture is the same building looking up.

We've been taking my daughter and a couple of her friends that are graduating this year out and about L.A. to take pictures of them for their senior year.
