So it is that once in a while we are reminded of the human frailty of both players and umpires.

Should the call be changed? Do we really wanna start that practice in baseball?

Yes? No?

I can see both sides but my love of the game says leave the call as is.

in this case I say yes. the ump admitted he blew the call.

For me it depends. I mean, if it's a game winning or losing call, then it needs to be right, but otherwise, just take your lumps and roll with it.

I felt sooo bad for the ump and the pitcher. I don't think I would have a problem with them changing it. Only problem is,could it open doors to have who knows how many calls changed? But,the guy did pitch a perfect game. The whole situation is a shame.
