Dems getting booed for not expanding government ENOUGH

The basic philosophy of the Democrats and other socialists is that government should do more, and more, and more. Now thet they have been elected, people are expecting them to deliver on their promises. Unsurprisingly, the Dems are failing - they can't even pay for the stuff they are already "giving" people, and the National Debt is skyrocketing as it never has in the nation's history.

And most ironically, it's not conservatives who are heckling them. It's their own base - the people who believed their promises and elected them on that basis.

It's never easy to be a liberal. And when you finally get elected as one, and people then expect you to come through with the Big Government you promised... it gets REALLY hard.

"We supported Obama, we supported you, now 21 states are begging for money to help us save the community," a woman screamed at Pelosi.

"You have made your point," Pelosi said in an attempt to quiet the protesters.

An aide informed her that they are "throwing stuff."

The bigger part that everyone in the DP is getting sick of all around is that the Dems have a majority in both houses, and the president backing them, and they still can't seem to actually get anything done. For years, they railed await at the whole "oh, if only we had the numbers" bit, and now, they have the numbers, and... nothing. Okay, some health care reform, but it was more of a circle jerk for the insurance companies than anything else. Not one significant change in a year and a half.

Now Bush was a horrible president, but come on, he at least knew how to use a majority ("You mean I don't need their input and can just put stuff through? It's like Christmas every day!"). I mean hell, the Dems could win huge points just by getting rid of hugely unpopular programs, like the NCLB, or the Patriot Act (Shit, they'd even get some points from the Republicans on that one), but again, nothing, they're just not really doing anything.

I mean, everyone talks about how the DP is trying to turn us over to socialism, but honestly, alls they seem to be doing is jerking off, only without the results. They can't even pass POPULAR legislation, let alone try to alter core concepts of the US. I mean come on, even Michael Moore is starting to get tired of them, how bad is that?
