On Friday, I left for Kentucky with my girlfriend to see a good friend of hers.

He is a minister of one of the local Church's (yes he is a REAL minister and he lives by what he tells others to live by) and he was a great host

Friday night we went to a minor league baseball game. The local team is the Bowling Green Hot Rods, and the stadium was built last year

Saturday we went to the Scottish games and then out on his boat for a long cruise on the lake

Here are some pics of the trip

The floods from last month still cover the parking lot of the marina

Looks like a wonderful vacation. My uncle had a home on Kentucky Lake, not far from Paris Landing, TN. Beautiful area.

I like this state but hope to move out of it. Too many rednecks.

i'm glad you had fun, Red. You had such a rough time the last couple of years, and you have been working so hard, you sooo deserve it!

Please do, and join the rest of the liberals who are leaving the state. The fact that there are few libs in the state (at least the area I was in) was a major selling point for me to consider moving there

It was a blast. Our host in the Pastor of his Church, and it was refreshing to see a man who walks the walk. He actually lives his life as he advises others to live there life
