Why aren't these folks allowed to go clean it all up?

This video has been making the rounds of the internet and appears to be a very simple way to start collecting the massive amounts of oil floating around in the Gulf of Mexico.

The video was released about two weeks ago and has gotten a lot of attention from major media outlets such as CBS News and online buzz, with close to a million views on YouTube. No word yet from BP though, and with all of the elaborate failures by the company so far, this one seems to make a lot of sense.

With the oil now threatening to touch down on Florida beaches I say get out the tractors and start dumping the hay!

Yeah it works in a bowl. I doubt it would in the gulf. Not to mention there isn't enough of it available to start with.

This is what I love about this nation. We are free to come up with ideas like this.

I think the idea has merit. My one concern would be the cost of food prices skyrocketing after the price of hay has jumped significantly.
