Remeber when Pres Bush and Republicans tired to rein in Fannie and Freddie and wanted to tighten the credit requirements?

We were told there was nothing wrong with Fannie and Freddie

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to Officially become Penny Stocks (FNE, FRE)

Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) shares hit a new 52-week low today of 40 Cents on Friday and its partner in crime Fannie Mae (NYSE:FNM) hit rock bottom at 35 cents. The reason? The NYSE said enough to these two U.S. government mortgage giants as they will be delisted from the exchange soon be trading on the over-the-counter (OTC) market starting July 8th.
