INDIANA (FOX19) - A new law scheduled to take effect on July 1 in Indiana will strengthen Indiana citizens Second Amendment rights.

Public Law 90 will allow citizens of Indiana to bring their guns into work as long as the weapons stay in the car. In the past, employers could put up signs that would not allow citizens to do that. This new law exempts some places of work, including schools, daycares, prisons, and corrections office.

Public Law 90 also prevents any government body at the state or local level from taking a citizen's gun.

According to State Representative Bob Bischoff, who authored the bill, "This will ensure that Indiana never sees something like what happened in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina."

Isn't it a shame that laws have to be passed to protect rights that are already constitutionally guaranteed to us?

Things have gotten so skewed and upside down I think we
are wondering what are our rights anymore!
