I got the San Diego Autism Society to approve my proposals (They said they had no problem with them, means same thing right :thumb:)

Proposals A and B:
Proposal A: Financial Support to Pay Meet up Administrative Fees.
For only $72 every 6 months, you can eliminate per event fees to cover administrative costs.

Proposal B: Event Costs
We are requesting financial support to help subsidize 50% of event costs. This will allow more people to participate in more of the events.



I also got a mentor who works for the San Diego School Board, and our first event is off the ground and running :)

Their evening gonna put a group description and first meetup description in their newsletter

Group Description: A social club for young adults with Aspergers. Come and let your abilities shine through as you make friends with other Aspies. We provide low-cost, fun activities, friendly people, and a safe, welcoming atmosphere to practice your social skills and have a blast. I hope to have you as our newest member.


First meetup description:

Our first meet up will be Dinner and a ball game. What better way to kickoff our new group then with a tasty dinner at Carl’s Jr, and the non stop excitement of a live baseball game. Below are a few steps necessary to get your Padres tickets as well where to meet us on the day of the Padres game, and how we will be getting to the Padres Game. I hope to see you there!

To attend our first meetup you will need to take the following steps

#1 Call the Padres ticket office on July 7th, 2010 at 10am at 619-795-5000 Press #1 for the ticket office

#2 Give the Padres my Account #2439371, They will automatically sit us together when you purchase your ticket

#3 In order for them to release your ticket(s) to you, you will need to let them set up a free account for you.

Now, your done, now time for the meetup

On July 17th, you will need to meet the group at the North Park Carls Jr. located at 3008 El Cajon Blvd where we will be having dinner. I recommend bringing $5-10 to pay for your meal. Next we will take the #15 Bus (Downtown Limited Stops via El Cajon Blvd). We will get off at the Broadway at 9th Av stop at 4:55pm. We will walk 0.7 miles South to Petco Park. We will arrive Approx 5:10-5:15pm, take our seats and the game will start at 5:35pm.
