its about time women realize their femininity is not wrapped up in being a mother but by merely being a woman.

Women dont have to or need to have children to fulfill some hole in them

anyone agree, or will we :argue: it out :coffee:

It's not necessarily a cussing out, martin. To a certain extent, women have a biological imperative to have children, so refusing said role does sort of present a hole. Part of what makes women who they are is motherhood. You can get surgeries to give yourself boobs and even a vag, but you would have no period, and no eggs of your own make.

Actually, the bigger issue I think is that women are bombarded with messages of how all their dreams will come crashing down the moment they have a child. This message is being pushed all over the place, and it's just flat wrong. Let's look at this case of my girlfriend, a single mom who will be fulfilling her dream of going into the Army this fall (she's looking at EOD). Are there considerations that must be made because she has a daughter? Certainly, but they can be worked around.

A child is not an anchor, unless you make them one. They get blamed for why parents can't take a parent's only vacation, or why parent's can't just "go out", all of which is utter crap. Babysitters can be arranged, be they friends, family, or a service, and no, they will not be horribly scarred for all their lives unless you make them feel like they should be. Otherwise, they'll pretty much assume the situation is normal, and while they'll miss their parents during the trips, obviously, that's really about as far as it goes.

good, the world is crowded enough. we should breed only for keeping the human race sustainable. i would support laws for limiting kids a family can have to 2-3
