Ya "Ageism" sux but it's part of our society these days. Most people don't know it unless it has touched them...but it will.

Mr Prelutsky has had quite a successful writing career, and in Hollywood no less.

Being a conservative, he's very lucky to have survived there as long as he did.

He sounds like a very nice guy. What a nice tribute to one who helped!

You are absolutely correct Hog. On top of that he is one heck of a guy. He holds poker games at his home and over the years has had players such are Ronnie Cox and Richard Dryfess there. Cox was an alright standup guy. Very gracious. But when Dryfess lost a lousy $20 he'd piss and moan as tho' the sky had fallen. Cheap skate..... Go figure...

Yep, he's a great guy. Took my grandaughters into Hollywood to see a flick all by himself. They were five and eight then. And that was the first time he'd ever seen them.... Pretty brag I'd say....

If memory serves me correct, that Ms. Chris Abbot he referred to was the producer of Murder She Wrote. My daughter, hubby and I had all met and had lunch with her and my in-laws in LA a few years ago. Amazingly enough, she's a real sweet heart. Go figure......

I always suspected that his role in What About Bob was a case of typecasting.....

It could've been. All I know is what he told us. That Dreyfuss was a huge losing whiner. Imagine that. All the money he has made in flicks and then to sit and whine over losing $20.....What a putz!
