Hmm.. I'm a 116, but they want you to pay for your profile, and I won't, so in their eyes, I'm probably down to a 112, but in my eyes, should be jumped up to a 120. :D

In any case, I'm not a 124 or higher, and don't get to be part of their special club. :(

Just the score is interesting though, isn't it?..You know yer above average anyway. I took it at 12:30 last night, all I'll say is I scored >124.

It's a fun lil test. Is it valid? I donno, all I can say is my score was close to other IQ tests I've taken composed of 100 or more questions.

I will say it didn't have the standard little "gimme-type-answer" questions.. Those actually took some thought..

Probably a scam to get you to join, because I know I'm dumb! Try Mensa for some easy questions :)

Hey! I AM dumb! How'd you get the little box with your score here? Or, did you just save it to your photo hosting site? I just looked for the HTML code, but they didn't have any.

Scored a 115. Not bad. In between "above average" and "high intelligence." An actual psychologist put me at 122 and I was a "gifted" student. I guess all that reefer I smoked in highschool dropped me to a 115

Well, it does kill brain cells quickly.. Add to that the munchie stupor, resulting in poor diet, and you're on your own rocketship to hell..

Tsktsk.

120, I could do a lot better if I had taken it seriously and used the alloted time.

I scored 140, but I was distracted.

FYI, the High IQ Society takes people with IQs in the 95th percentile of the population, which is an IQ of 124 on the Weschler scale (standard deviation of 15). Mensa, of which I am a member, accepts only people in the 98th percentile, which equates to an IQ of 131. The Triple Nine Society (of which I am also a member), accepts people in the 99.9th percentile, which equates to an IQ of at least 146.

I scored a 135, but I didn't use the time allotted, nor did I take the 'find the next square' questions very seriously. My mom won't tell me my actual, tested IQ (my ego's big enough, anyway), but has said that I needn't worry about not being the smartest person in the room unless I'm in some really good company, so I'm guessing in excess of 140 or so.

In any sense, I didn't join any of the smart people clubs, because I've never had a problem finding other smart people to talk to (I know a physicist who has an IQ of over 160 and got to, through him, meet THE Stephen Hawking), and I occasionally have the need to act dumb, an act made impossible with a MENSA card in your wallet.

Got a perfect score, which is considered to be "off the charts."

I'm not too surprised, considering how I tested in the past. And I never joined any of the "clubs," either. Always found the idea a little ridiculous.

WOW! Did you find any part difficult? For me it was the colored box sequence.

WOW! Did you find any part difficult? For me it was the colored box sequence. The questions about historical knowledge were (relatively) more difficult for me. I don't bother to memorize such things; I just look them up when I need them. (The Internet has made me lazy!)

In general, I enjoy thinking, and I was really amazed when a psychologist friend told me that most people find it stressful.

BTW, the colored box sequence could indeed be brutal if you happen to be color blind.

Reminds me of the Cliff Clavin quote, although his was about beer:

"Well ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move
as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the
slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural
selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. ! That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

Sometimes print screen doesn't pick up everything that was on the screen. Things can be coded so as they can't be read by "print".

I hit print screen on my computer and nothing happens.

Tried this myself, and got a 112. Then I read the questions and got a 141, which is close to other IQ test scores I've had. Actually a little low. I don't think the test is all that intuitive as to a real indication of IQ.
