More from the party of tolerance. Why do liberals always seem to get pissed off when they hear alternate opinions, and want to silence those people?
Say you are ‘drinking liberally’ in a bar and out of the corner of your eye, an insidious FOX logo keeps floating across the screen.
Yeah, you could ask the bartender to change the channel, but why not convince the manager to ban the Fox News channel altogether?
Now you can join a activist group determined to remove Fox news from ever being broadcast in public. ‘Turn off Fox’
Here is their credo:
Some businesses play Fox without having thought about it at all, and may not know how divisive and dangerous Fox is. Turn Off Fox will help you work with others in your area (and across the country) to identify places that play Fox, ask them to change the channel, and explain why they should.
It’s easy! Arm yourself with a few PDFs and make your case. After that, report back to your leaders, notify them where Fox is playing, and tell them how the business owner responded to you

"Do as I say, not as I do"?
Because the discreet conservatives of this country have let the temper tantrums of the progressives intimidate them to the point the spoiled brats think they can have it all, their way. FoxNews is merely pointing out their hypocrisy.
Kinda reminds me of watching people who tell their children several times to do something (or not do something) and the children ignore them until the parents actually realize the children are doing what they please... and then, surprise ..... the parents come down on them harder than either side expected. I see that happening this November.

It will be fun watching Chris Matthews cover the November 2 election. He has openly said he hopes Dems make a come back and win key House and Senate elections
And this is the guy who will be "reporting" the election results?
This will be Chris and the rest of the staff at MSNBC at the end of the night on November 2

When I had to take my sister to the cancer center for her followup last week all their televisions were set to FoxNews. I live in northern calif and she lives in a very red county and she was surprised that I was surprised!!!
When she was up here she asked me to take her to a local AA meeting. One of the items on that particular group's agenda was to not end the meeting with prayer any more. Her turn to be shocked!!! I said that is what happens when you live in one of the most liberal county outside of San Francisco.
None of the public televisions are ever set to Fox. When I go to get my tires rotated at Les Schwab I always turn the tv to Fox....just to see people's reactions.

At work they have TV's throughout the three story building. I love to turn the TV from MSNBC to Fox news as well
Now they have some of the sets set to the Weather Channel. I guess they think that is a safe station

When I tell my liberal co-workers that Fox News is the #1 network in cable news they always reply popularity has nothing to do with integrity or the truth.
I ask them why they did not say that during Obama's campaign. :laugh2:

They've been plotting that for years.
This is "news"?

Erm...TVs in bars?
I guess liberals on election night do not want to here the striaght up news of the Dem's massive loss. They want to hear the spin and sympathetic remarks by the like of Chris Matthews and Wolf Blizer
It is something to watch libs go nuts when they see Fox News on a TV or hear Rush on a radio
They have the same reaction to both like a vampire has to sunshine

It is not news that libs want Fox News off the air and they will do anything to attain that goal
What is "news" to me is that libs are so damn arrogant they think they can strut into a private business with a lame petition, and inyimidate the owner into not airing Fox news on HIS/HER TV
I know libs live to make others think and act like them - but now they want to make sure private businesses have only approved channels on their TV's?
I guess next we will hear about the mistreated libs who are tossed out of businesses that refuse to cave to their demands

I have seen this kind of rhetoric from the mentally adled left for many years now and it is indicative of the kind of government they desire. It is the way that Mr. Obama intends to rule what apparently sees as his kingdom. They want an iron handed tightly message controlled government with massive powers that is the center of the universe for all the needs of the American people. Historians call is socialism and some go as far as calling is Marxism.

Liberals truly are the party of hypocrites. The so called defenders of free speech and tolerance have gone predictably silent on this topic. This type of Stalinist behavior may very well blow up in their face.

The only reason the left wants to silence (and hates) Fox News is because Fox News does not spew the misinformation, partial informatin and does not wave the pom poms for Obama like the rest of the networks.
They alsp can't stand the fact Fox News blows all the others out of ratings.
They lost it when Fox news got a front row seat for the WH Press briefings

Sorry about that
This is type of "reporting" the left wants to see on the airwaves. All liberals talking about the economy and other issues of the day
When talking about the economy do NOT mention the unemplyment rate was 7.7 when Obama took office and is now it is 9.6%

That could have some negative consequences if they walk into the wrong bar.

Of course not. That goes against the liberal medis'a agenda
Now Chris Matthews is starting to grasp how badly Dems are going to lose

They can't defeat the message, so they have to silence it. It's the hallmark of people who know they are lying to people. People who are honest have no need to hide other points of view.
