Should I be happy I have this?
Sometimes, I think the poor (like me) are thrown a few crumbs and told we've feasted.
Facts, non political: 1100 co-pay for inpatient stay. It may not be a lot for you but when your sole income is ssi/ssa. Thats a fucking lot of money
1-60 days free: but what if you need more? 256 a day, thats a lot of money.
Most people dont take medicare, so youre fucked on that end too
I am grateful for what I have, but doesnt feel like much.
and nobody takes medi-cal i dont know about other states, but california is a giant cluster fuck, I think it should be annulled or abolshed.
Medicare only pays doctors 22.. cents out of every dollar, what kind of bullshit is that? doctors are evil, (sarcasm) but the government doesnt even pay them enough for their services, and is the biggest cheater ever and gets away with it, but if a doctor overchargers by a cent accidently, not intentional overcharging, but mistakes which do happen, a lot. With all those dam codes, huge investigation.
