I doubt that you'll find anyone on this board who does not believe that at least some form of regulation is necessary.

The problem is that the list of regulations keeps growing every year

This is small buns, but as it's happened in Europe it's big news,

For a really story about how businesses circumvent regulations (with little opposition) look up what Trafigura did on the Ivory Coast.

What's even better about them is that a newspaper in the UK tried to publish an arutle on what they wher doing and Trafigura took out a 'super-injunction' against them, meaning not only where they not allowed to report the story, they were also not allowed to report that they were not allowed to report the story. As it happens this story came out in the end, but who knows how many don't.
