View Full Version : Beck vs Soros

Heard that Beck announced on his show that if "anything" happens to him, Soros will have blood on his hands. Wow .... this should be quite a showdown.

Today it was announced that George Soros is personally donating $1 Million dollars to help Media Matters. What’s so odd about this, you ask? What makes this odd is that normally, Soros uses one of his non-profit front organizations. Yesterday, Glenn Beck used his Fox News Channel TV show to detail how Soros has pumped $1 Million dollars to the Huffington Post and another $1.8 Million dollars to National Public Radio (NPR) through the Tides Foundation. Beck challenged Soros to come on the TV show with him and debate for one hour. Soros responded indirectly today with a direct donation to Media Matters.

Now, keep in mind that Media Matters gets money from Tides as well. Plus through Open Society Institute, the granddaddy of the Soros non-profit empire. It’s website is a simple one, www.soros.org (http://www.soros.org/). A wide range of Progressive groups and causes are funded by these entities. From the Center for American Progress, to Emerald City, to Van Jone’s Green for All, etc.

Soros was a major contributor to the Democrats in the 2006 and 2008 elections. Not only on a national level, but also at the state level through ‘The Secretary of State Project’, since, after all, as Beck points out, it is the state secretaries of the 50 states that count all the votes and run the elections. If you want to control, and manipulate the process, where better than there?

Media Matters has joined other Soros funded groups in launching a boycott of the Glenn Beck Show on Fox News. Oddly enough, they launched their campaign about a week ago. Nice timing on getting that million dollar check!
Soros and his Progressive pals are running scared now. With the Tea Party and 9/12 Project leading the Revolt of the Pawns, the Socialist Dream World the Progressives are hoping to build may wind up on the scrap heap of history. The November 2010 mid term election is just the beginning, something a few people in Washington are starting to realize.

Beltway insider Michael Barone writes today that he finally is starting to ‘get’ the Tea Party movement. Not only are they politically savvy, more so than the Lame Street Media gives them credit for, but he sees them as a force to be reckoned with. While the Democrats are the focus this time around, Barone cautions Republicans not to betray the trust the Tea Party is handing them defacto. Next time, there may very well be competition from a new political party.

This is why Soros is running scared now. His best laid plans are unraveling. Glenn Beck has challenged George Soros to come on his show and talk for one hour and debate who has the better interests of America, and the World, at heart. Certainly not George Soros! He recently wrote an op-ed saying America needs less faith and honor and more stimulus. Now, Soros is calling for the “managed devaluation of the dollar”. Inflation is an enemy of all people who actually have to work and earn a living. Don’t hold your breath, though Glenn. Max Keiser offered Soros a cash prize to debate him and Soros declined.

It wouldn't be surprising if he declined to debate with Beck, given that beck is a lil bit crazy.

Now that Barone 'gets it,' he nails it. I've maintained that the GOP has more to fear from tea party than Democrats. Did you see DeMint's appearance on FOX?

No coincidence ... I think they'll let the other FoxNews contributor go also (can't think of her name right now).

Soros also gave a huge donation to MediaMatters to destroy Beck and FoxNews.

This man should be classified as Enemy #1.

Im curious what Glenn is up to egging Soros on like that.

Interesting that Soros declares open war on Beck and Fox news and then Juan Williams gets fired from NPR, which recieves funding by Soros, the very next day.

Beck is trying to irate him into talking about this. then the eggs fly. that is if Soros dosen't have duc tape on his mouth right now. he's probably hiding in a closet. "no comment" sign on the door.

also NPR had 1 black on its staff. and they just fired him. hmmmm

I do think Williams has grounds for a law suit. even the View backs him. and that's saying something !!!!

Do you get FOX and Beck in UK? Or are you judging on the snippets posted on Messageboards and such?

I watched him back when he was on CNN a few years ago and just thought he was a bit eccentric, but when he moved to fox it all started becoming a but clearly that he is a little mad, so I stopped watching.
I have no doubt that he makes some good points and will unearth interesting stuff, but over here we have people that can do that without the crazy.

I have always meant to ask, but never known how to explain it. Over here we have a publication called 'Private Eye' they take an objective stance on everything, they are not a for profit organization and have no political leanings. They investigate with depth and no regard for who's toes they step on in the public or private sector, which has lead to the Editor, Ian Hislop, being the most ever sued man in britain as companies and government orgs try to gag him, and on the whole fail.

Is there a similar type of publication in America?
