Actually it was Obama to Republicans. If it were Palin, I do think the take would be the reminders of Rosa Parks:

Obama assails GOP on clouded final campaign push

(AP) – 9 hours ago

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (AP) — President Barack Obama attacked Republicans with gusto Monday as he plunged into a final week of midterm election campaigning, but his party's prognosis remained darkened by the feeble economy and his itinerary was designed largely to minimize losses.

Nor was his greeting totally friendly in a state where Obama has pointedly declined to endorse his party's candidate for governor.

Obama can "take his endorsement and really shove it," declared Democrat Frank Caprio, battling Republican-turned-independent Lincoln Chafee in a Rhode Island gubernatorial race rated tight in the polls. Chafee endorsed Obama during the 2008 campaign for the White House.

In a little more than five hours in the state, Obama was booked for a factory tour and for a pair of fundraisers that party officials said would bring in $500,000.

He said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, "we can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back." ...

and he's out there telling Hispanic to 'punish their enemies...' What a fine post-racial president he's turned out to be. Rhetoric of race wars, Jim Crow, oh yes, such a healer. Chicago way at its most basic...

Obama Vows to Push Immigration Changes
By ASHLEY SOUTHALL

In the final week leading up to the midterm elections, President Barack Obama is encouraging Hispanic voters to turn their frustration over stalled immigration reform against Republicans on Election Day.

Hispanics make up a crucial voting bloc in several battleground states and Democrats are hoping to pick up voters turned off by anti-immigrant discourse.

In a radio interview that aired on Univision on Monday, Mr. Obama sought to assure Hispanics that he would push an immigration overhaul after the midterm elections, even though he has not been able to attract Republican support.

“If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re going to punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,’ if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s going to be harder and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2.” ...

It's truly amazing how the GOP has been able to convince people to vote against their own best interests. That average, working class Americans continue to support the GOP despite eight years of the Bush administration and 10 years of a GOP congressional majority which cratered the US economy, involved the country in a war of choice based on lies, and sought to undermine the Constitution for the ostensive purpose of protecting it...Is nothing short of amazing. Never mind the patent absurdity of doing so.

But hey, if that's want, go for. But be careful what you wish for...you may get it.

Well Bully, just like your leadership, you figure people are just too damn stupid to realize how good they're having it with Obama and minions. Could you possibly be more condescending or wrong?

and from the party of the Chicago way, we have the Philadelphia chapter:

...The Democratic Party in Pennsylvania should be sending MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell a basket of mini-muffins for her deft handling of a potentially devastating gaffe one week before the mid-term elections.

Rep. Robert Brady (D-PA), Chariman of the Philadelphia Democratic Party, was on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell this morning. He was explaining how the Philadelphia machine was working to ensure Joe Sestak’s victory in the closely watched Senate race in Pennsylvania. Ms Mitchell asked, “What is the secret here to turn out? In the old days, the old machine days, what we called ‘walking around money,’ handing out money to get people to vote. Is it still the case? What do you do, what is the magic in Philadelphia?”

Rep. Brady (who looks and sounds like he came right out of central casting for the part of shady, party boss) shockingly acknowledged that the cash-on-the-streets strategy is not an antiquity but still part of the Democratic Machine’s playbook in 2010: “We still have the street money and we’re very knowledgeable,” he said...

...Why the delay in following-up on that statement? Is it possible Ms. Mitchell had a little suggestion planted in her ear by a producer who saw what kind of damage Rep. Brady had just done?

Does anybody believe Ms. Mitchell or any of her colleagues at MSNBC would have force-fed a clarification like this from a Republican Party official who just announced that they plan on getting out the vote with lots of “walking around money”?

Another banner day for journalism at the official network of the Democratic Party. Lean forward, indeed.

I'm sure they would never cast a vote for those who might not be able to make it to the polls, no way.
