Dems should have obeyed this rule, but they can't seem to help themselves and always seem to be in attack mode

I'm a California Attorney and have been for the last 25 years and a conservative too. I have to be conservative, because facts, as is so often said, are stubborn things. Many elegant legal theories have been destroyed by one simple ugly fact. An attorney's currency is facts. Sure we attorneys spin facts, dance around facts, try to distort facts; but, facts are what they are whether the trier of facts, such as a jury, is amused by your presentation or not. Juries do get it. And why wouldn't they? They're voters too.

I have tried cases before juries. And the most important thing to learn as a trial attorney about juries is never insult them. Never their belief, their opinions or their personal integrity. Of course, we devilish bastards do try to change their point of view to that of our client... it's what we are paid to do the best of our ability. But, the stubborn fact remains that you never attack the integrity of the jury.

"Why not?," you might ask. Simple, the jury always has the last word. Voters are no different than a jury. A politician may challenge our beliefs, may challenge our opinions by the use of rhetoric, but insult us?

What has happened this election cycle on the part of the Democrats is amazing and I've personally never seen this in my state nor throughout the nation's elections in the many years I have watched the process. Conservatives this cycle have been called a litany of things: racists, Nazis, radicals, extremists and bigots. Friends of conservatives such as the Tea Party have been vilified too. Along with all the names ascribed to conservatives, they are also called AstroTurf, tantrumous children, uninformed, stupid, thugs, villainous, unAmerican, Fascists, whores, bitches and the like. All of which does not amount to getting us to re-examine our opinions and beliefs. All of which is a direct and insulting attack.

Now let me pose a very simple question to the Democrats and their leader. Do you think your insults endears us voters to your candidates? It's okay. We all know the answer.

The liberal media is hanging in there and doing their "best" to try and help Dems in the final hours

The main message is we the voters are too stupid to see the accomplishments of Obama and the Dems

Christane broke rule #1 once again

ABC’s Christiane Amanpour spent her last show before the election mimicking Democratic talking points. She cued up Democratic Senator Robert Menendez with how Americans don’t recognize the realities of Obama’s achievements so the Democratic shortcoming is not liberal policies but “bad messaging,” while she pressed Republican Senator John Cornyn about whether Republicans “will agree with President Obama's plan to raise taxes on the wealthiest and preserve them for the middle class?” She also fretted that it’s been a “very specific-free, substance-free, content-free election” before she scolded Cornyn for a “racist” ad.

Though ABC’s Jonathan Karl on Friday night noted how “a new study of campaign ads finds that more than half of negative Democratic ads [51%] are personal attacks, whereas the overwhelming majority of Republican ads attack Democratic policies [69%],” Amanpour relayed “strong complaints from the Democrats about a lot of the anonymous money that's going on ads.” She then ran a clip of an ad from Republican Senator David Vitter which contended his opponent favors illegal aliens, demanding of Cornyn: “So some people have called that racist. I want to know do you think it's appropriate to finger Hispanics in that way? Do you think it is appropriate?”

PS ... I want to start a movement to "vote out" the liberal bias in the media. Put every single one of those talking heads on a ballot and vote "YAY" or "NAY"!!!

We see them very clearly MKP

$1.4 Trillion annual deficits

trillions added to the national debt in only 2 years

government takeover of private companies

Obamacare where private citizens are ordered by the government to but a policy or face fines and/or jail

stimulus money that was nothing but more government pork and bailouts to states to keep government workers on the payroll

an administration that openly attacked private citizens for expressing their opposition to the liberal tax and spend policies

Yes, we the stupid. misinformed, uneducated, and racist voters will give credit to Obama and the Dems for all these and other accomplishments today - and we may do it in record numbers for a midterm election

And, if those we elected choose to insult us there is always November 2012. It's amazing how fast two years can be.

That is why people need to rethink the "gridlock talk MKP

Republicans will have the House - no question. They will pick up about 8 seats in the Senate

Who knows how many Dems up for reelection in 2012 will not side with the majority to repeal Obamacare, extend tax cuts for everyone, cut spending, and cancel the remaining stimulus?

We get the votes needed to override the Obama veto

Look how many bailed on the tax debate, and Dems put off the vote until after this eclection. They saw the defections then and they see them in the future as well
