I only have older ones. Lost my "good" camera and I hate trying to take a pic of myself with a cell phone camera. I'll see if I can get my son to take a picture for me in a few. Can you photoshop it for me so that I'm not fat and ugly?

Not so young anymore. I'll be hitting the big 40 on New Year's Eve... and the events of this past year gave me a bunch of gray hairs sprouting where I had none before.

It's a crappy picture taken by my phone, but the most recent I have.

I hate having my picture taken, so there are not too many. My daughter got this the morning we had engagement brunch for her. It's like 8 am and I'd already made a lot of good and as you can see, had a couple mimosas. ;) Gotta love the crystal though!

KarlMarx, your a cute baby, I suspected you would be.

Nighttrain, your girlfriend looks like alot of fun, good for you after being so mistreated in your previous relationship, your both adorable.

DMPles, I like that nick for you "dimples" even though psychoblues said it first and it makes you mad, Your a handsome man and all the women here have let you know that. SO I will be no different. I have a weakness for men with brown eyes & dark hair, but add a beard to that and I am putty I tell ya:laugh: ( oh I am loyal to my man it's just an honest compliment to you) that doesn't mean more then that.

Well, I change my hair every year .... in 2006 it was short like Halle Berry and red, and then I started growing it out to my shoulders, and it was auburn and then brunette....now, it's past my shoulders and heavy blond highlights.

I'll get a picture in here as soon as I can find the cord that connects the camera to the computer so I can download something current.

You can post it from facebook, open the image in it's album, right click and select 'copy link location/url' then paste that into a post in-between [img] tags. The image URL will be scrambled so there will be no way to find your facebook using the image.

Another way would be attaching the image to the post, simly go to make a post as normal and click the attach button (the button with the paper clip just above the text box) and upload the image from your computer the same way you uploaded the pic to facebook. Hope that helps.

Same here...brunette for sure.

I'm naturally auburn, which I'm sure I've written before. However, natural no longer really fits, so I go between blond, strawberry blond, and sometimes just silver. :laugh2:

I'll bet I was the first here with silver hair, started in sophomore year of high school. My dad was the same-totally silver by 21, though his went overnight with the D-Day invasion. :laugh2: The good thing is it is silver, not really that icky gray.

I would love to have natural silver hair ... I'm working on it!!!

My first love in highschool had some gray in his hair at 16 ... we never had a problem with people asking for his ID. BTW ... I was a cougar in highschool....he was six months younger and one year behind!

LOL! My ex was 2 years younger than me! I guess he still is. ;)
I started coloring the silver in high school, I got carded til nearly 35. Now I go through periods of letting the hair grow out, then go back to coloring again. Right now with looking for jobs, gonna go darker again. I hate that though, my hair grows fast.

That's why I started the blond highlights a couple of years ago. The highlights disguise the gray, and yet I don't have to have it done that often like I did when I was keeping it darker. Now, everything blends. As soon as I get a camera that can take a picture that I can upload to this computer I'll get a recent picture.

Yeah, I did that too for a long time. With so much silver though, the highlights and low lights disappear nearly as quickly as my roots start showing with the dark. The silver is super resistant to color. It's tough on the hair too, which is why I think once I get a position, I'll let it go silver again. :laugh2:

my wife's aunt had silver hair back when we married, she was in her 40s....my wife colored hers for years and then decided to go natural last year to see what happened.....

she started out as a brunette and now it's gray with sort of a gold undertone.....I call her blond and tell her I always wondered what it would be like to marry a blond...

Not personally, but for some reason I vaguely remember a post where dmp was concerned about his weight.

However, I could be totally wrong on this...

I'm concerned about my weight! I was always a slob when it came to eating but was always thin, my entire life. I could eat 5,6,8 slices of pizza and not gain an ounce.

Then I started getting towards the 40's. Then I hit the 40's. Then I quit smoking. Then I found that reaching for food is what I often do instead of reaching for a smoke. Then I found out that the food now tastes better.

I quickly went from an thin/athletic build to this monstrosity (pic taken by my Dad last weekend)

http://i52.tinypic.com/33b05u1.jpg

My New Years Resolution is going to be all about the gym and eating better - and sticking to it until summer. I think if I see positive and healthy results, I'll stick with it through just the NY resolution.

I'll leave it to the girls to give an assessment of how you look, you look pretty much the same to me, Jim!

I need to drop some weight, too, Jim. I dropped 40 pounds in 40 days when the divorce crap hit me out of the blue, but that was due to stress and only eating once per week. My stepdad (who's been through that rodeo 3 times) informed me that the weight would come right back... I was doubtful but I have gained 20 of it back. I'll drop weight in the summer because we kick into high gear working 7-12s or better.

BTW, Chloe, I do enjoy your avatar... it's not quite as sexy as SL's legs but I think that smoke she's got adds to the pic! Usually I don't care for cigarettes in pictures but that one fits, somehow.

Thanks:laugh:.... I don't smoke anymore but i like it too.

Yeah, that's about the only way for me to lose weight, through something "traumatic" or like when I recently dropped 10-12lbs in 4 days when I quite the smoking. That was before I started healing though and rediscovered food again! LOL

No double chin, no pot belly, no man boobies. Nope your not fat.

Maybe not a double chin, but about 1 1/2 - The belly is there, I said to my Dad "Hey Pop, can you take a picture and make it so that I don't look so fat?". So I sat in a manner not to show off my Baby Santa Claus Belly. Thank God, it's only the belly area actually, so working out has helped my arms, legs and chest area, so no man boobs.

Trust me, you don't have to look at me naked, in a mirror, standing sideways. It's very disturbing, and quite fascinating, all at the same time. It's like watching one of those tinfoil containers of popcorn you place on the stove, but playing back in very slow motion. I believe I WILL pop someday!

But I am learning a new skill. It takes TALENT to learn how to dress without revealing all of your defective parts! I'm like a woman who is 4 months pregnant trying to hide the baby bump. If I ever start to wear what my great Aunt referred to as "moo moo's" - please shoot me.

I wish I had that problem, that I had a few vices that could cause problems. The problem with me since quitting smoking is that EVERYTHING is like that for me. The only "officially" banned word here is the "C" word that people used to direct towards women. Out of respect to those women, that word will come up as **** if you typed it and posted it. Outside of that, and the minimal rules we have here, you can pretty much say whatever you want, whether foul language or a warped political view.

And look, we do have some beer!

I caught those down at the Midnight Lump out from Venice, LA, very close to where the Horizon Oil spill occurred. I will start another thread and show you guys some more big fish pics. I am always ready to go. I used to go down to Louisianna on Christmas night and stay for 2 weeks or so and fish, go to Sugar Bowl, party in New orleans, and duck hunt. Now I got so much shit going on around here I can't do those 2 week vacations. Plus I would rather take a damn cruise and relax. I love fighting a 200 plus pound Yellow Fin Tuna better than ANYTHING to include sex. I won't elaborate further. Maybe the right woman could take over first place, but I haven't found her yet.

Watch for my picture thread. It will probably be tomorrow.I am tired as hell. I had my 2 nephews and there little buddy all day,( 2 12 year olds and a 16 that acts 12). We cut and busted a load of firewood. We looked for my lost LAB. We hunted our asses off this evening, so I am just pooped. Anyway, later.

No, that's not an Electraglide, Pee. Look on the front fender. There is a nameplate and it is a Glide of some kind but the name is too short to be Electro. It's a close relative and certainly an offshoot of the old 74's but I just can't do better than that. That's my opinion but I'm not a scooter guy!!!!! I think we have some hardtails on this board that can straighten both of us out!!!!

I have been to Ft. Bragg but more to No Hope Pope AFB inside Ft. Bragg. I'm a C-130 airdrop cat and I've put a few of the 82nd boys out the tail door, don't you know? I don't recognize that chopper either but I am certain I have seen it or some just like it!

Didn't your Mama tell you to quit pullin' on your dick? My Mama told me the same thing but it never stopped me!!!

It doesn't help that the first pic was taken at like 4am after a night shift meaning me's all tired and greasy hair lol, but yeah the general theme is that anyone over 30 says it looks much better short, and everyone under 30 is horrified I've cut it all away xD

But it's just my hairs cycle, I let it grow until I can easily eat it, then I cut it all away back and get my quiff back, and repeat ^,^

Well, I'm sorry to say that the most recent photo I have of my family (as a unit) is this one from Thanksgiving. We've had to travel much this year and separately. always too busy I suppose....even though my wife and I work remotely most of the time. I shouldn't be too hard on myself, however, as my 'children' are no longer children. David (at RIGHT) is headed to college in a week or so, Megan (the one with the Westy) Is now a little lady and lil' Lauren is no longer the shortest in the family. HA! The fine "young" lady at under my arm is my wife of 22 years and best friend for well over 24 years. I am the 280 pounder (of course) but that's OK cuz we're ALL a family with height and big bones. HA!!! I designed the Christian MMA Wear by the way.

I can't believe that I just now found this thread....still trying to get accustomed to it's MANY fantastic qualities. I have long hoped to see friends photos and such with a bit of disappointment that DP's members haven't taken advantage of the album capabilities within our profile section. I know that we should all be safe and careful during these strange/dangerous times in which we live but I was even a bit disappointed in the profile section not having any information about fellow members. Birthday wishes would be a grand thing to know (without the year date of birth, of course) Ha!!! I'd wish most anyone a Hardy Happy Birthday if I only knew...I'm sure most of us would. Perhaps JIMNYC could simply 'make it happen'. He is, after all, #1. HA! I suppose only the Trekkies will get that one.

Anyway, thanks to those who participated and I'd like to see everyone use their own avatars....if not any other time, at least during THANKSGIVING. That is a Holy-day that ANYONE and EVERYONE should be able to celebrate...even atheists!!!

OK, pal...it's your turn!!!!

I did, have a few photos of our business trip to SF back in May/early June. It is the
most recent photos on my BlackBerry....without taking some cheezy photo from arm's
length or something.

I was quite surprised and even impressed with SF. and loved the tour that my client
gave me in OLD Sacramento....which is now underground for the most part (as I understand).
He's the guy in the white hair and the site is a location he used in his third book that I helped
him with. I wore the wrong thing that day and was surprised at how different SF's weather
was in comparison to Sacramento. I truly thought it would be cooler than the Cess Coast but
it was actually MUCH hotter. Needless to say, I dropped the coat! HA!!! Beautiful town and
State though and the people were fantastic...except for those KraZy motorbikers!!! They
were foolishly dangerous by the way they were driving....very risky! By the way...Bertolucci's
was GREAT! Best darn steak I'd had in a long time. If ever in the area again...I'll be SURE
to hit that spot again! I used their site photos for the food and the establishment shots cuz
I forgot to take photos of what we had & the booth where we sat. (or was it that I ate
downed it so quickly). My shots for the outside didn't do it justice and their shot really
showed the mood of the place and the fantastic sunsets. Sadly, I heard that the Italian
district was being destroyed to make way for some underground subway system!

At any rate, I've enjoyed everyone's photos and chats and hope to see more folks post so
get out the photos guys/gals and cowboy/cowgirl up! I know a few who are too shy to do

In every profile is an option to enter the date of birth. The DOB is also asked when registering for the site. The board keeps these in a database, and when someone has a birthday, it will be displayed at the bottom of the board by the statistics and list of people online today. Additionally, the board will automatically send a HB email to that member!

Well, the photos (as always the case) does not do it justice....the steak a New York, Italian Style was actually the best steak that I have had in a long long time! I'd love to have this establishment near my area BUT I don't want any of the KraZy bikers! Are you familiar with the laws and the risky driving practices of CA? I complained to my client (the guy in the white hair) who asked if I were getting around OK and after I exclaimed that those nuts on the motor cycles should be arrested, he smiled and said that he thought the same thing after he moved into the State. He told me that he found out that it was actually lawful to pass while driving on the line (ON THE FREAKIN' LINE) and in between two cars (with just enough room for the handle bars to get through without hitting the mirrors of the cars they're passing). Like I said...KraZy!!!! But the steaks were fantastic!!!! and so was the dessert. If ever in the SF area, TRY 'EM OUT!!! The owner also has a chain of New York or Chicago Pizza Joints that are very popular!

With you being from New York, I assume you'd feel right at home. It was quite enjoyable there.

Yep, Motorcyclists are allowed to pass in between cars here in Cali. We're pretty used to it. Many drivers like myself will usually inch over a bit to give them a wider berth.
Despite that, I rarely see any accidents involving a motorcycle, at least in SoCal.

I would also inch over if given the chance but these nuts are doing 85-90 in a 6 lane (three going, three coming) while I'm doing at least 75 in the rental with a car to my right and a car passing me to my left. Without even knowing that a motorcyclist is even in the area Swooooopppp! they pass right on by (almost colliding with the care that was already in the process of passing an already congested roadway. It is a KraZy law and those who risk their life doing it are also KraZy. I'll take your word for nobody getting hurt or killed but it must be Divine intervention. They could at least put up billboards to warn visitors; something along the line of "WARNING...ignorant motorcycle passing law are in place". The first time it happened to me made me almost swerve into another car! HA!!! Good thing this good ole boy wasn't spitting his T'backy juice at the time. HA!

I know it's technically possible to pick a Muslim out of the crowd, if it's a woman wearing a burqa in a normal American town. But for the most part, it's not always that easy to pick out a Muslim gent. I have one friend who is as white as me, with wavy brown hair and features you would see on anyone else. He has no accent whatsoever. You would never know he is a Muslim from Algeria. Another buddy is about as black as they come. You wouldn't pick him out of a line-up as being a Muslim, but might assume he was from Harlem or Africa. And well, he is from Morocco, so he is actually from a portion of Africa!

If you divide the land area of Morocco by that of Africa it turns out you're buddy is only 1.4% African.
You might want let him know to ask his mother where the other 98.6% of him came from :p

He disassociates himself from Africa as in his own words he says it makes him the "N" word, but not said like that. He is a racist Muslim!! LOL

Of course, the man on the right is sporting a classic Muslim beard.

I pictured you as a younger bloke, so I would say the one on the left! Are you into stocks or something? Or some sort of broadcasting? It looks like a TV set or similar you are on there.

I'm the one on the right with the beard. I am Director of a Foreign Exchange broker. The pic was taken at a recent expo (trade show). We showed a little of our other business in esports media in the background for a little while for fun. We actually attracted a bunch of gamers who recognised the game immeditately :)

I don't have any recent pictures of myself. I rarely sit for photos, and I don't own a camera. My g/f thinks I'm crazy for being like this, but I've always shied away from having my picture taken.

Perhaps it's the fact that I'm in the Federal Witness Protection Program that makes me this way :)

Oh the Marriott's are awesome, the staffing is second to none and they have the best amenities around. They are pricey as you said, I left the resort for dinner most nights due tothe cost, just couldn't justify 30.00 for a steak I could get for 18.00 somewhere else..

I'm a rewards card carrying member of Marriott. They are one of the best in the industry. I've stayed at their hotels up and down the East Coast of the States, but mostly just the one in Central NJ when I go on an extended visit to family. And you know the best part? My sister started working at that one about almost a year ago. Normally I would pay $119 a night there, unless a weekend special, and I could get it from $89-99 a night, sometimes. You need to spend a decent amount of time staying with them before the rewards card has much effect. But if my sister books my room, and has permission to give me her rate, I pay $39 a night for a king size bed with full amenities!

Did you know that the initial investors with Marriott those who gave the brothers about 2500.00 in the late 50's to expand the company have a LIFETIME hold on hotel prices for them and their children. The cost at the time was 7.00 a night and they STILL pay that to this day as a perk for investing in the company, regardless of where the Marriott is, that is what they pay... Amazing if you ask me, but they did take a big risk with a lot of money for the time.... I think the JW in Orlando is up to 350.00 a night now... would love to only pay 7.00 dollar for that LOL:laugh:

Here's what I told my sis - At her rate of $39 per night x 31 days in a month = that comes out to about $1200 per month, which is the cost of a typical one bedroom apartment in our area and on the lower end for a 2 bedroom apartment. At that rate for the hotel, with daily maid service, access to their gym, pool & hot tub for free, and a 42" flat screen TV with all the channels, and free high speed Wifi. I asked her if I could liver there but her manager apparently would be ungrateful for my loyalty & dedication to their facilities!

I take a few medications that, for various reasons, cause the patient to gain weight. This can be confirmed via a simple Google search. I take 4 in total, but 2 of them in the anxiety/depression/nutcase category are the wight gainers. They are Trileptal and Seroquel.

And I have a terrible diet that I am continually working on making better, and continually failing. So while I do now my medications aren't helping, I readily admit I'm not helping myself either!

So with those 2 put together, here is my latest photo:

The other two are father and son, the son Mark is in a wheelchair due to a tree falling on him about 4 years ago and he is paralysed from waist down. Thats my good friend Mark and I promised him I'd be there at that party. I always keep my promises ,even though I had only been home from the hospital myself less than 3 days I went as I said I would. I was on a heavy does of pain meds at that time too. My wife and son were at another filipina party across town. She was angry at me for going to a different party but I keep my word when given. -Tyr

You look very sophisticated in that photo. Is that just regular traditional dress? Not sure why, but my first thought in seeing this picture is that you are some sort of religious figure, like a cleric or Imam. Where does this traditional outfit stem from? I ask only because I don't see friends dressing that way here in the states, but then again I have never went with any of them to a Mosque.

Oh man, that sucks as far as the employment is concerned, even though I was kidding. But sounds like it could limit your business in various ways. I would ask why, but I'll just do some research as opposed to nagging you in a pictures thread!

I had a really good friend back in the early 80's that had a wife that looked about like that. She was however a truly great cook.!! I've seen her eat more than him , myself and both their teenage kids combined at a meal. And back then I was by no means a light eater. I usually ate only two meals a day, both very big. I never got fat because I was too active and always slow down my eating when I gained just a few pounds over my prime fighting weight.
