Marshal: Man shot, burned; woman raped

Investigators believe Channon Christian was held hostage and raped repeatedly for several days before being killed, a federal marshal said today.
The news came on the same day that authorities captured three men sought for questioning in her death and that of her boyfriend, Christopher Newsom.

Authorities believe she and Newsom were abducted after a weekend carjacking in North Knoxville that ultimately led to both their deaths, said Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Rich Knighten of the Western District of Kentucky.

"They did some really nasty things to this lady," Knighten said.

Newsom was shot and his body burned, Knighten said. He said he didn’t know how Christian died.

Federal and local authorities nabbed Letalvis Cobbins and a friend, George Thomas, about 10 a.m. Thursday in Lebanon, Ky. Knoxville investigators had received information that Cobbins had a relative there.

Lemaricus Davidson was arrested about 3:35 p.m. in Knoxville by KPD’s Special Operations Squad, U.S. marshals and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents.

Cobbins, Davidson and Thomas are suspects in both killings, Knighten said.

Davidson, 25, was arrested at an empty house at 1800 Reynolds St. He was crying and offered no resistance.

I'd say because the lieberal media has an agenda to help promote the dominance of the black culture. They believe they can bring the good white man down by accusing good boys of atrocious behavior, while ignoring the horrendously frequent actions of the typical black male.

The media has rules.

Rule 1. Whites are bad.

Rule 2. Blacks are good.

Rule 3. If you are confused, review rules 1 and 2.

LMAO.

You forgot the [/sarcasm] at the end of that. Technically, you could lose the "only liberal in Idaho" label for not adding that in your post.

Maybe because there's not a prosecutor here looking to get re-elected in a majority black district.

More charges filed against four men in Newsom, Christian murders

On Wednesday, a federal grand jury returned indictments against the four men charged in connection with the deaths of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom.

The couple were carjacked and murdered earlier this month.

The jury indicted Lemaricus Davidson and his brother, Latalvus Cobbins, on charges of carjacking with the intent to cause death or injury. They're also charged with carrying and discharging weapons during a crime of violence.

George Thomas and Eric Boyd now face charges of knowing about the carjacking, and helping the brothers evade arrest.

None of the men have been charged with murder because federal murder charges can only be filed under special circumstances, like when it occurs on federal property or involves an agent. But they could still face the death penalty if convicted of carjacking.
