Yes, Mr. P it's Christmas Eve and that scene always reminds us to remember why we celebrate, thank you!

Well it's a busy day here, going to package up the goodies, make the dressing for the turkey, bake those pies and cake, (I went to bed, probably a very good thing). Going to my brother's around 2, should be home early-it's going to be snowing here.

I don't know if you have time for a quick recipe, but I thought of you when I found this. I bought spinach and dried tomato tortillas:

Simple & Delicious Cranberry Cream Cheese Pinwheels

By Canadian in Minnesota on December 24, 2007

* Prep Time: 15 mins
* Total Time: 15 mins
* Servings: 40

Ingredients

o 4 soft flour tortillas ( for Christmas I use the green spinach ones)
o 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
o 1 cup dried cranberries ( I use Craisins)
o 2 bunches diced green onions
o 1 teaspoon garlic salt

Directions

1. Mix cream cheese and garlic salt together until well blended. Spread evenly on tops of tortillas.
2. In small bowl, stir together cranberries and onions. Sprinkle evenly over cream cheese spread. Lightly press cranberry/onion mix into cream cheese.
3. Roll up tortilla. Trim off ends. And cut each tortilla into 10 even pieces using a serated knife, like you would slice bread.

A very Merry Christmas to you!

Great thread! I just heard that more people have heard the Christmas story from Linus than any other source.

I just now thought of a good idea for a Christmas thread. I will start it soon.
