Michelle Malkin has a great piece on the tolerant left this morning reminds everyone where the hate in politics comes from

It is a long article since there are so many examples

Take a look and remember the tizzy the Dems and the liberal meida are in over "crosshairs" in a political ad

Tell ya what gabs here are a couple of quotes for you...

Yet a Democratic Pennsylvania Congressman called for the murder of a Florida candidate for Governor during the 2010 political campaign. Rep. Paul Kanjorski stated that newly-elected Florida Governor Rick Scott, a Republican, should be 'lined up against a wall and shot.'

Hollywood got into the hate-fest during the administration of George W. Bush by releasing a movie depicting his assassination

But in your world gabs this is ok since it isn't directed at a Liberal!!!

Seems there are a lot of liberals out there that want Palin dead. I guess as long as your a liberal you can make death threats with impunity.

A liberal nut shoots a democrat representative. The liberals all blame Palin. The liberals start calling for her death. It's like watching a television sitcom with an outlandish storyline.

While I am not surprised you are trying to deny the examples of real hate that has come from the left; but I believe you did use the bloody picture of McCain as your avatar during the 2009 election

The liberal media has been so "outraged" over conservative talk radio and how they incite violence

I did not hear any "outrage" from the liberal meida over this from Sgt Ed Schultz and his producer

Ed Schultz Producer Suggested Obama 'Put a Gun' to Heads of CEOs
By Jack Coleman | January 11, 2011 | 17:55

Go figure, yet another example of allegedly non-existent rhetoric from a liberal using violent and/or gun-related imagery. Not to worry though, apparently it's only conservatives who set off left wingers when this occurs and and not the other way around.

Back on Dec. 16, I wrote about a conversation between liberal radio host Ed Schultz and his producer James "Holmy" Holm, who also helps Schultz with "The Ed Show" on MSNBC. Schultz's radio listeners have grown quite familiar with Holm, who has come on the air to chat with Schultz several times a week over the last year.

Let's hear what Schultz and Holm said about President Obama planning to meet with 20 of the nation's top CEOs

HOLM: The president is going to speak with business leaders that are sitting on $1.9 trillion dollars -- $1.9 trillion dollars. Maybe what we should do is put a gun to their head and just say, give us that $1.9 trillion dollars, you don't need to read anything, just hand it to us!

SCHULTZ: Yeah, they won't ...

HOLM: But, I mean, that's, that's how crazy this thing is!

Are you honestly suggesting that there are Conservatives creating these images specifically to blame liberals for doing so? Do you have any evidence for such accusations?

Why is it that when the leftists made movies and books about assasinating President Bush, it was art, but Palin creates a political advertisement including a map showing who she is focused on defeating in elections, it is somehow violent and inappropriate?

Chris Matthews wishing death on Rush Limbaugh

<object width="518" height="419"><param name="movie" value="http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/eyeblast.swf?v=GdSU8zqGSU" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/eyeblast.swf?v=GdSU8zqGSU" allowfullscreen="true" width="518" height="419" /></object>

Left-wing radio hosts have openly desired the death of leading conservatives without a peep from the liberal media elites. Radio host Mike Malloy (a onetime news writer for CNN) wished for Rush Limbaugh’s demise on January 4, 2010, a few days after the conservative host was hospitalized for chest pains: “I’m waiting for the day when I pick it up, pick up a newspaper or click on the Internet and find out he’s choked to death on his own throat fat or a great big wad of saliva or something, you know, whatever. Go away, Rush, you make me sick!”

In 2009, then-Air America radio host Montel Williams urged Congresswoman Michele Bachmann to kill herself: “Slit your wrist! Go ahead! I mean, you know, why not? I mean, if you want to — or, you know, do us all a better thing. Move that knife up about two feet. I mean, start right at the collarbone.”

Media gadfly Arianna Huffington made her own plea for civility, telling the Washington Post via e-mail this weekend that “there are lots of ways to be lively and put forth a strong opinion without demonizing one’s opponent....It’s the demonization that is the problem.”

But her Huffington Post blog site has demonized conservatives for years, including an item posted in early 2007 mocking the cancer that would eventually take the life of White House press secretary Tony Snow. Sneered San Francisco radio host Charles Karel Bouley: “I hear about Tony Snow and say to myself, well, stand up every day, lie to the American people at the behest of your dictator-esque boss and well, how could a cancer NOT grow in you. Work for Fox News, spinning the truth in to a billion knots and how can your gut not rot?”

---Believing that the constitution should be followed is Conspiracy theory and fringe talk ONE step away from killing. They should have never have been heard in the 1st place.

---And they are all RACIST all of them!!!---

We don't care if they own it, we don't care if there's no link to Al Queda. Al Queda was Muslim they are Muslim therefore they shouldn't be there. Doesn't matter that the man who funds it is one of the largest shareholders in fox news all Muslims are evil and tricksee ALL of them.---

The night before Keith had this

http://www.newsbusters.org/sites/default/files/main_photos/2011/January/Silent%20Sarah.png

Sadly, this is not at all surprising, for the same was true of Olbermann's colleagues Chris Matthews and Ed Schultz who also complained about Palin's silence Tuesday only to rip her apart for her video message Wednesday.

What must be learned from this is that when it comes to the folks at MSNBC, no matter what Sarah Palin says or does, she is going to be demonized for it.

Makes you wonder if anyone at MSNBC, NBC, GE, or Comcast is concerned that death threats on the former Alaska governor have risen to unprecedented levels since the media chose to implicate her in Saturday's killings.

Is anyone asking that network's commentators to tone down their rhetoric, or is it only incumbent upon conservatives to do so?

Once again, that is indeed a rhetorical question.

Seems the NY Times does not care about the facts - the Times is still trying to blame the right for the AZ shooting

New York Times Profile Still Trying to Link Loughner to Right-Wing Extremism
By Rusty Weiss | January 16, 2011 | 11:21

The New York Times simply can’t help themselves. They simply cannot leave their opinions out of supposedly objective pieces of journalism. Which begs the question, if the bulk of the articles contain this type of reporting, why does the Times even bother having a separate opinion section?

In a profile piece on Tucson gunman Jared Loughner titled, Looking Behind the Mug-Shot Grin of an Accused Killer, the Times takes two separate occasions to toss in a casual link to ‘right-wing groups’ (h/t Byron York).

The first cheap shot shows up on the first page of a seven page profile:

He became an echo chamber for stray ideas, amplifying, for example, certain grandiose tenets of a number of extremist right-wing groups — including the need for a new money system and the government’s mind-manipulation of the masses through language.

The second instance addresses the currency issue and casts blame on the right as well :

A few days later, during a meeting with a school administrator, Mr. Loughner said that he had paid for his courses illegally because, “I did not pay with gold and silver” — a standard position among right-wing extremist groups.

Perhaps inadvertently, the profile points out that much of what they know about Loughner is open to interpretation.

Instead, the pattern of facts so far presents only a lack of one, a curlicue of contradictory moments open to broad interpretation.

Fortunately, it seems the Times is willing to provide those interpretations for their readers.

As Mark Finkelstein wrote earlier today, “By now, even (the) most ardent liberals have had to admit that there was no nexus between conservatives and the manifestly psychotic AZ shooter.”

Apparently this makes the New York Times a step above ‘ardent liberal’.
