My brother in law told me that there has been a rise in break-ins where they live in East Los Angeles, so he wants to be prepared. So, on Sunday, my sister and I are going to the range for a firearms refreshers course, and to shoot our awesome guns.
It would better if they would allow us to shoot assault rifles, but I suppose our handguns will have to do.

Remember to practice what you preach, "one shot is all you need". If ya miss consider yerself dead cuz ya won't get another chance. Then go home.

I had a band years ago where the guitar player was a very paranoid practically clinically insane rightwing gun toting asshole but he was a Lynard Skynard and ZZ Top specialist and musically perfect for the band I wanted at the time. We also had a bass player, the most mild mannered guy, apolitical in every way, just wanted to be left alone while he bumped a few monkeys on the ladies he ran across and smoked his dope. Well, guitar player got him all jacked up over President Barack Hussein Obama and the direction of the country as he, the guitar player, perceived it, and bass player got a 40 cal. semi auto. Gentle soul bass player was cleaning the pistol and it discharged jaggedly removing his index finger on his left hand. You might imagine what that would do to his enormous skills as a very high energy rock and roll bass player. All over what? Paranoia?
