Over the last week I have seen the liberal media very happy over the events in Egypt. I have not seen them this giddy since the night Obama won the White House

It made me ask myself if the left is so happy over the people in the streets over in Egypt - why are they so hostile over people in the streets here in the US?

Both groups were opposed to the policies of their government. Both were fed up with the state of the nations economy. Both wanted the government to change their policies

Yet not once did I see the liberal media tag the protesters in Egypt as racists, Nazi's, teabaggers, or hatemongers. I did not see Nancy Pelosi say they were carrying swastikas

The media was not reporting they were cheering over the events in Egypt

Now that protest has attained it goal the liberal media will go to Stage 2 -try and give Obama credit for what happened in Egypt.

The liberal medias job now is to do everything to make sure Obama keeps his job

He says that kind of stuff when he gets that old familiar thrill up his leg.

The spin begins

A Democratic official emails -- a bit prematurely, I'd say -- with what I take to be the official line:

Great news for the administration/president. People will remember , despite some fumbles yesterday, that the President played an excellent hand, walked the right line and that his statement last night was potentially decisive in bringing this issue to a close. The situation remains complicated and delicate going forward, but this is a huge affirmation of the President's leadership on the international stage.
