This is going to be great!!!!!!!!! Keith can afford to be non-profit because although he was born and raised in very modest surroundings he is now a multi, multi newscast millionaire and is his own master.

Two weeks after announcing his one-hour primetime show for Current TV, former MSNBC "Countdown" host Keith Olbermann launched Fok News Channel Friday, a Web site called the "official not-for-profit blog of Keith Olbermann."
Olbermann tweeted an announcement on Tuesday, telling fans that he was "proud" to announce: Coming very very soon - your FOKNewsChannel website... #FOK."
The first post for FOK News -- a pun referencing rival broadcaster Fox News and an acronym for "Friends of Keith" -- resurrected the popular "Countdown" segment "Worst Persons in the World." The post calls out cable news host Bill O'Reilly, Rep. Paul Broun of Georgia and "The would-be Mayor of Jacksonville, Florida" Mike Hogan as the worst people of the day.
Olbermann abruptly parted ways with MSNBC in January after hosting the network's most popular nightly show, "Countdown," for almost eight years.
The reasons for the liberal host's departure were not immediately clear, though he had public difficulties with the network, including a suspension in November over donations he made to Democratic candidates, which was in violation of network policy............................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...................................

He will have considerably more than any "26" viewers, pig boy. He remains the historical best audience drawing anchor MSNBC ever had. You may say, so what? I would repeat just to possibly penetrate your thick dumb skull, "he remains the historical best audience drawing anchor MSNBC ever had." Do you think MSNBC is some nickel and dime third rate cable news venue?

I'd say "nickel and dime" is highly inflated.

Those are just some of the facts, folks. I can find more if you'd like but I suspect by the way some of you are already talking that you wouldn't believe the truth if it smacked you upside your ignorant heads. Whoever came up with that tag "willful ignorance" for the Rush listeners and Fox watchers was truly observant and verified what I had been thinking but didn't have a name for it for years.

Nm, I was not trying to slight your precious FoxNews by any stretch. I posted an article and stats that I felt were relevant to the question of MSNBC being some minor player in the cable news market. And Fox is included in the study that I posted but the comparison was primarily devoted to CNN/MSNBC as it stated in the headline.
Don't get your panties in such a wad, Nm!

Oh, and I forgot, chloe, while FoxNews tries to pass itself off as genuine news FokNews is admittedly going to be heavily nuanced and satirical. Both are pure entertainment and nothing more. It just depends on what tickles your fancy. Do you remember when Steven Colbert first hit the bigger time and his extreme rightwing views were so funny? Did you know there were thousands that cheered him on thinking he was serious and actually thought in that ridiculous manner!!!!! That was hilarious in and of itself!!!!!
