The media continues its unabated fascination with, and expose' of, the recent interviews with Charlie Sheen, similar to a swarm of flies picking apart a steaming load that has just appeared in their midst.
At the same time, some channels occasionally broadcast the hysterical rants and "defiant challenges" issued by the fading dictator of Libya to his nonlistening populace.
And it occurs to me to wonder how two raving psychotics could languish in relative obscurity for so many years, and then simultaneously be moved to the front and center of every stage, only to start issuing nearly identical self-congratulatory and deluded evaluations of themselves to people who have no possibility of believing any of it.
Has anyone ever seen Charlie Sheen and Moammar Qaddaffi in the same room at the same time?
About the only reason I have left to believe they might really be two different people, is because even the legions of Hollywood makeup artists would be hard-pressed to pull off THAT change in outward appearance.
