Looks like the haves can now buy their way out of real prison, too. For an extra cost and some connections, you can upgrade your prison cell, and have several modern luxuries, along with never having to see the other inmates. This brings up two issues.
1) It seems that in America, justice is often for sale, and the legal system given to the unwashed masses is different than the one given to the elites.
2) Conditions in prisons are so horrible that people are willing to go to a lot of expense and trouble to avoid them. Not exactly a formula for rehabilitation, huh?
