I read that over the past few days and can't seem to understand what they were trying to accomplish, or what point they were trying to prove. In "theory" I do, but they could have saved a few grand by flying and spent a night or 2 in Vegas had the traveled accordingly!

Well. you're saying you can't get a cab to Brooklyn, but that's a little weird if cabbies are in fact able to go as far as the West Coast of the country.
