Spent the afternoon with daughter's future in-laws. Had an awesome time! Good food, drink, and conversation. While daughter's fiance is a bit of a lefty, his family wasn't and darn if the talk didn't turn to politics. Seems his step mother's sister graduated from my high school same year I did. Seems we also crossed over for a year at University of Chicago, her in English, me in sociology. Very interesting.

With all the cleaning and packing, came across my long lost digital camera, so shot some pics at their house today. Now I've never been good at taking photos, especially of people, but wanted to see how the old camera worked. How'd I do? :

Man, you guys are in full swing of summer... my lawn still isn't fully green yet.
