It's about to get more amusing:

Pun filled post of the day:

'I mean I just can't tell, I'm a little bigger or smaller? Trend left of course, it's just so hard!

Weiner ‘can’t say with certitude’ if Twit pics were of him

MSNBC is about to come out with what appears to be a terrific interview. Luke Russert was just asking Rep. Anthony Weiner questions about his controversial Tweet, and Weiner appears to actually be answering. Unfortunately, the live feed kept going out — so we will have to wait for MSNBC to air the full video in a bit. In the mean time, we do know that Russert asked Weiner if the lewd pictures that were Tweeted from Weiner’s account to a young lady were of him. Weiner answered:
“I can’t say with certitude. My system was hacked. Pictures can be manipulated. Pictures can be dropped in and inserted.”

“It was a prank.” Someone “spoofed me, made fun of me — whatever,” — he said, adding, “this is not a national security matter.” The live video feed shut off at an inopportune time, but it looks like Russert will be out with a good interview in a bit…

Now he's denied it, so he'll have to fire someone:

NY rep says he didn't send Twitter photo
By ANDREW MIGA, Associated Press Andrew Miga, Associated Press 49 mins ago

WASHINGTON – New York Rep. Anthony Weiner denied Wednesday sending a lewd photo from his Twitter account to a 21-year-old woman, trying to calm a media furor that has only increased by the day and wasn't put to rest by the combative lawmaker's latest comments.

Weiner also acknowledged he "can't say with certitude" that the photo of a man's bulging underpants wasn't him...

Weiner needs to sit down with Bill Clinton and come up with a way to beat this

No pun intended

Why do guys even do these things? Most women are not going to be impressed, and many will be kinda disgusted.

Now if he sends a pic of a big net worth statement with rock solid and long term investments, showing wide diversity...

Abbey I do not know why he is upset over this. Being a Democrat this can only be a resume enhancement for him

Finally the Police are invovled in this - but not the way you would think

This jerk knows he is in deep trouble

Congressman Anthony Weiner said Thursday he’s finished talking about the lewd photo sent from his Twitter account.

But he still wouldn’t say whether he’s the one in the picture.

So CBS 2 political reporter Marcia Kramer decided to go to his office on Capitol Hill to try to get you some answers.

You’ll never believe what happened.

Kramer tried to get an interview with the six-term New York Democrat and as a result had the cops called on her.

Kramer walked in to Weiner’s office, announced herself as being from CBS 2 in New York City and said she’d like to see the congressman. Those few words created quite the stir. Doors slammed and people pretended she wasn’t there.

I don't know about 'big trouble' in legal sense, since he didn't report it; but it does appear he's toast:

Weiner Is Cooked

June 6, 2011 Posted by John at 12:50 PM

We noted this morning that Andrew Breitbart has received emails, texts and photographs from a young woman who corresponded with Congressman Anthony Weiner. Breitbart says he received these materials a week before Weiner's grey underpants story broke. His Big Government and Big Journalism sites are releasing the Weiner photos and emails over the course of the day.

The first couple of photos were relatively innocuous, but now we come to this one, which allegedly was sent to the young woman on May 20. Shades of Chris Lee!

...

UPDATE: Star magazine has another woman--described as a Democratic campaign volunteer who is "middle-aged and from Nevada"--to whom Weiner allegedly sent 200 sexually explicit messages on Facebook. She also says that she never met Weiner, but "once had a 30 minute phone sex session with Weiner on his government provided telephone." (Maybe he got the idea from Bill Clinton.) I don't have the same confidence in Star's editorial standards that I do in Breitbart, so take it for what it is worth. If you follow the link, the quoted messages do have a seeming ring of truth. One wonders, now that the floodgates have opened, whether other women will emerge.

FURTHER UPDATE: The New York Times has interviewed Breitbart:

Mr. Breitbart, a provocative scourge of the political left, said in an interview that he knows who the woman is and that she would be stepping forward shortly to explain how she came into possession of the photos.

"You're going to know who this person is by tomorrow," Mr. Breitbart said. "She is going to come out of her anonymity in a very short time. She will be coming forward to communicate the means by which she received these photos. I think it will be clear that she is telling the truth."

An ABC News official said that the network has conducted an interview with a woman, who says she received the photos from Mr. Weiner, evidently the same photos Mr. Breitbart obtained.

As of this afternoon, the network was determining when it would broadcast the interview.

I felt absolutely no sympathy for the lying arrogant prick. He expects us to believe that deep down, he can be trusted because he was only lying about some embarassing personal thing. I imagine that might make a tough sell, even in NYC.

I heard the news conference. He was asked about 3 times before he would apologize to Breitbart. He deserves to lose his shirt (pun not really intended) for that alone.

Why should Weiner be worried about this? Hell he is a liberal Democrat with his eye of being Mayor of NYC
