ABC, at least, took the incident seriously, running a full story. NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams read a short item in which he cited the actions of “a Marine reservist.” The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley didn’t utter a syllable about it.

BUT briefly I'll responed to you last group of quote to mention

1. Unlike Islam the Laws you quoted spoke of punishments on Men and women. Equal justice.

2. Most of what you quoted where punishments against Blasphemy and they were harsh. BUT they were to be imposed only on the Israelites living in the boarders of Israel. Not Exported to neighboring countries in Jihads, or to be meeted out on foreigners visiting the country freely. Many foreign idol worshipers actually came to prophets directly and left whole and happy.
AND only during certain periods in it's history was that law carried out. Most of the time there where PLENTY of Idol worshiping jews in Israel. And when a King didn't start to enforce the Law of Moses He started by Asking the people to repent, Change there ways, Then Busted up the pagan temples. At that point many turned or went into secret Pagan worship. But rarely if ever was there a mass killing of Jewish Idolaters. i can only think of 1 time. that was with Elijah against the prophets of Baal.

A number of Jews migrated there against the wishes of the British. There were terror attacks yes.....against the British. A un resolution created the state of Israel.
