The hope that the Arab world had not long ago put in the United States and President Obama has all but evaporated.
Two and a half years after Obama came to office, raising expectations for change among many in the Arab world, favorable ratings of the United States have plummeted in the Middle East, according to a new poll conducted by Zogby International for the Arab American Institute Foundation.
In most countries surveyed, favorable attitudes toward the United States dropped to levels lower than they were during the last year of the Bush administration . . . Pollsters began their work shortly after a major speech Obama gave on the Middle East . . . Fewer than 10 percent of respondents described themselves as having a favorable view of Obama.

Indeed, Gaffer, indeed. While we naturally worry much more about domestic affairs, concerning our own well being, it seems that the foreign policies may actually be worse.

He hasn't really changed much Bush policy, a drawn down in Iraq but still the battles go on. Afghanistan there's still war. we are bombing 10 innocents to every 1 "terrorist" in Pakistan. He's bombed Yemen. He's attacked Libya aligned with "former" Alqueda. Stood by fairly mute and watched our Syrian, Bahraian and Saudi Arabian "good friends" beat down the people there. Aljazeera has reported torture going on in Bagram prison, And many in people are stilled held in indefinite detention in Iraq and Afghanistan many considered innocent, many held without charges/trails or families knowing their condition or whereabouts.
What exactly should the rank and file in the middle east be happy about from Obama's done so far?
New boss same as the old boss. Bombing and imprisoning for peace.

Is there a difference?

What did Bush do that Dems hated that Obama hasn't continued?

Is there a difference?

What did Bush do that Dems hated that Obama hasn't continued?

The reason the left hated (and still hates) Pres Bush was he beat Al Gore and John Kerry

The reason Obama is not popular is simply due to his incompetence, I will let the numbers speak for themselves

The numbers show Bush's recession was much better than Obama's "recovery"

Just take this last item: In the last two years we have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our entire nation’s history.
Over 27 times as fast. Metaphorically speaking, if you are driving in the right lane doing 65 MPH and a car rockets past you in the left lane.
27 times faster, it would be doing 7,555 MPH!
