Q: How can you tell the TEA party is effective?

A: The liberal hysterics aren't screaming it's George W. Bush's fault any more.

Let me get this straight.

The leftist losers are now saying that the TEA Party is a bunch of people who are doing exactly what the leftist losers themselves did in the 1960s?

Now THAT's an insult!

:laugh2:

lol......she said "the job of Congress is to spend money"......
In one sentence she crystallized what's wrong with the Democrats today... because they actually believe that.

There's an antiquated document that no one pays attention to any more (except for a few newly-elected members of Congress, and who listens to them?), that lays out what the REAL purpose of Congress (and government in general) is:

"...all men are... endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights... to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men."

Yep, government's job is to protect our rights. And that's it's ONLY job. It's the fundamental reason government was created.

And you should see what that antiquated document says about what we should do when government violates our rights instead of protecting them!

BTW, it's not just a good idea. That antiquated document is a LAW. The first one ever passed in the United States. And it's just as much in force today, as it was on that July 4th.

Hopefully we will keep obeying it... ALL of it... as we have barely started to on Aug. 2, 2011 - a start that isn't really adequate... but it's a start.

One of Rush's better quotes

"Liberalism is hideous. It is the antithesis of being pro-human. It looks at life as a burden in and of itself to be managed, rather than as a blessing to be explored and lived to the fullest." --Rush Limbaugh
