Why? Seems obvious to me. He has zero chance of nomination, let alone electibility. He has a history of doing well in things like the Iowa straw poll but being unable to translate it into support for primaries. Bachman, although I think she is an idiot, at least is riding the tea party wave. Nor is she fringe isolationist like Ron Paul. She's a new product while Paul is old hat.

It's tempest in a tea pot, though. Neither is electable.
