A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely. ~Roald Dahl

Death is nothing more than a part of life. Life can be miserable or not - that is up to us for the most part. Circumstances can affect that but if our happiness depends soley on circumstances we're bound to have a sorry life.

I tend to be very optimistic but everyone has to face the fact that we've each a set period of time for living. The avatar is something that strikes my fancy. Perhaps I interpret it as the beauty of life, hourglass in hand, while death waits patiently behind her. It's not something I've actually tried to define before, Abbey. I just like it. :)

During my cancer treatments my Dr was amazed I was not showing any fear that the treatments would not work. I told him if they work they work. If they don't they don't

When I was being taken into surgery I told my GF not to worry. If everything goes wil I would be back in a few hours. If things don't go well I would be back in a few minutes
