Genuinly unbelievable.

The boy was seen throwing a punch at another at a school bus stop, the policeman asked him to freeze, he ran, hiding in a shed. The officer found him and shot the shed, the boy later died of his injuries.

What a sad story, but it does have a moral--don't make a bad situation worse.

Says he's a 17yr veteran, any guesses he's kept his job thanks to the union????

Sounds like an open-and-shut case of murder.

Which is why I seriously doubt the accuracy of the story. No way could it have been that simple.

Let's see... have we ever seen an example of an inaccurate newspaper story?

Story I read said that he had a weapon and was asked to drop the weapon. Instead pointed the weapon at police.
Sounds like "suicide by cop" to me.

Suicide by cop by a 14 year old boy?

Should an officer treat a 14yr old differently when he's pointing a gun at them? Or is it that you don't think a kid can be suicidal and not care about consequences?
