You can't make this stuff up folks. The best and brightest of the far left on display for all to see and laugh at

Over the past month, the crusaders at Zuccotti Park have braved the elements, tussled with police, and stood their ground against Mayor Bloomberg. But how much do the protesters actually know about the economic system that they're fighting to change? To find out, we asked 50 occupiers a series of questions about Wall Street, taxes, and government. The results were mixed. See if you can do better

http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2011/10/occupy_wall_street_quiz.html

and we have this for additional comic relief

Man, how come I miss all the good parties? You know? I should of been a left wing loony toon and see? I could of gotten free drugs, slept on the streets, gotten a few good looking chicks' phone numbers, maybe got a case of the crabs, be a public nuisance and health menace. Plus, I could be as irrational and incoherent as I want to be and gotten free media coverage!... maybe I could champion the cause of fig growers in Upstate New York, nah, maybe hmmm, I could call for the liberation of blacksmiths from oppression, no, hmmm, perhaps I could demand the release of Daffy Duck, nah, hmm... then I'd go down and dance to the bongo beat, chant some Tibetan mantras, and go home just in time for "X-Factor"....

it beats looking for a job or going to class. Maybe I should write my thesis on "What I did during my Summer Vacation as an OWS organizer"

Gee, it's so much fun changing the world and society for the better....

You know.. .the more I listen to the OWS demonstrators, the more I'm reminded of the lyrics from some of the songs from Frank Zappa's We're only in it for the money

What I find most depressing about their protest is that at no point are they even mentioning cutting government spending in the least. It just defies common sense.

Just a hunch.

Sounds like Woodstock all over again.

And I know that the youth of America today is so wonderful, and I'm proud to be part of this gigantic mass deception....

First I'll buy some beads
And then perhaps a leather band to go around my head
Some feathers and bells
And a book of Indian lore
I will ask the Chamber of Commerce how to get to Haight Street
And smoke an awful lot of dope
I will wander around barefoot
I will have a psychedelic gleam in my eye at all times
I will love everyone
I will love the police as they kick the s*** out of me on the street ....

What's there to live for?
Who needs the peace corps?
Think I'll just DROP OUT
I'll go to Frisco, buy a wig & sleep on Owsley's floor

Walked past the wig store
Danced at the Fillmore
I'm completely stoned
I'm hippy & I'm trippy, I'm a gypsy on my own
I'll stay a week & get the crabs & take a bus back home
I'm really just a phony but forgive me 'cause I'm stoned....

Actually, Noir, it was pretty fair. Sure, most didn't know the Dodd-Frank Act, but well, even I didn't know that one off the top of my head, and I took business classes in high school. For the Federal Reserve, most responded no, which was correct, while those that said yes emphasized that the President appoints the board members, which is true. A little over a third knew Bernanke was the Chairman of the Federal Reserve. They were mostly right about inflation.

Now, as to Warren, they can be excused, since most OWS people are from NYC, and not Mass, so they wouldn't know her as a senator. Now, I do take issue about not knowing at least the SEC, and how much the tax rate is for the very group they're going after for more taxes is (more than 88% got it wrong). The answers on how much Capital Gains was about where I figured it would be, aside from the one group that apparently wants to do away with the capital gains tax entirely.

The last question though sort of shows where the main disconnect is. 94% assume the military is the biggest expense of our government and it's really not.

Another example of liberal logic. Mr Simmons demands OTHERS pay more in taxes for things they may not support - but he says NO to paying more in taxes due to how the money is spent

Yes, he fits in real good with the hippies

More on the type of people who are out to change America

Remember this is the left's answer to the Tea Party

A man accused of exposing himself to children at least five times (http://ballard.komonews.com/news/crime/677931-search-man-who-allegedly-exposed-himself-children-5-times) across Seattle was arrested early Tuesday morning.

Seattle police say he was taken into custody at his Kenmore residence around 1 a.m.

Officers had been given a composite sketch of the suspect and detectives learned he had been at Westlake Park taking part in the Occupy Seattle protests. (http://search.komonews.com/default.aspx?ct=r&q=%22occupy+seattle%22&x=0&y=0)

The man is accused of exposing himself three times on Sept. 29 -- once in Crown Hill, once near Alki Beach, and a third time on Capitol Hill. Three days later, he was spotted at Pinehurst Playfield near Northgate, and then again on Oct. 3 at the Lakeside soccer field in North Seattle.

In one instance, the man allegedly approached two 13-year-old girls on swings, made a comment and was engaged in a lewd act when they turned to look, according to police.

Drunk 11-Year-Old At Occupy Missoula, Adult Arrested

Missoula police say an 11-year-old boy turned up drunk on the courthouse lawn, from the Occupy Missoula encampment early Thursday morning. That's the group protesting corporate greed.
Police say one of the camp's occupants bought the youngster alcohol. Twenty-seven year old John Skinner was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

The police report said Skinner encountered the boy and a friend outside a downtown Missoula bar. Police say the friend asked Skinner to buy them alcohol.

They say Skinner invited the boy and his friend into his tent so he could "keep an eye on him." But they said Skinner didn't call 911 or emergency medical technicians.

Police said the boy had permission to be out late at night. But they found the boy unconscious and vomiting on the courthouse lawn.

Occupy organizers said Skinner arrived at the camp Wednesday and had been drinking. The group has a zero tolerance for drinking alcohol on site. "He assured us that he wasn't, that he had been drinking elsewhere," said camp facilitator Kathleen Kelly.

She said the group gave him a chance to sleep it off in a tent.
Kelly said Occupy Missoula is taking this development very seriously.

Well PB, you keep using that disgusting sexual term to describe those who have a different POV ont he role and size of government - but you keep your big mouth shut on what the hippies are saying, doing, and demanding

It is clear you hate anyone who wants to have the government live on what it takes in - but you don't care about the hippies raping women, destroying private property, getting kids drunk, using drugs, and taking a dump on Police cars

Your priorities are very clear
