VoteVets.org (http://www.votevets.org) has released the second in their latest series of ads targeting the rubber stamp republicans in congress that keep voting with bush on Iraq...

let's hope these ads can wake up those sleeping republicans and maybe we can end this war sooner rather than later.

You can view both the latest ad by General Eaton and the previous one by General Batiste, here... VoteVets.org (http://www.votevets.org)

Or you can continue to support bush and his failed policies while hundreds of our fellow americans die for NOTHING!

On the heels of the ad that rocked the political world, retired Major General Paul Eaton takes to the airwaves to say that the President doesn’t listen to his commanders on the ground. General Eaton should know whether the President really listens to his commanders on the ground, or not. General Eaton recently retired from the US Army after more than 33 years service. His most recent operational assignment was Commanding General of the command charged with reestablishing Iraqi Security Forces from 2003-2004, where he built the command and established the structure and infrastructure for the Iraqi Armed Forces. Keep this ad going!

The fact is, the majority of US troops are conservative, and they haven't gone the GOP way because they were enticed. Being in the US military with a Dem President is a struggle to survive in and of itself.

This appeal to emotionalism and giving only an either-or choice to the reader seems a bit desperate to me.

Seems to me the smart move would be to support the Iraq government and its sudden willingness to stand up and be counted.
