Need some help choosing some songs for kareoke. I wanna serenade andrea.

Here is some samples of songs I love

I want a melodic, pure, love songs that I can sing to her, and have her sing to me and duet with me, probably can only do 6 songs total. Here are some songs I love, mostly 70's singer songwriter , slighty uptempo, but i cant decide what is best :(

not in any particular order

1. America - I need You
2. Dan Fogelberg - longer
3. Steven Bishop - it might be you
4. Dan Hill - Sometimes when we touch
5. Debbie Boone - You Light Up My Life

Only my voice sounds like very bass like. cant do high notes lol

If I was to do that, I'd probably do something from "Huey Lewis and the news". Can't go wrong with that!

If your gonna do Rod Stewart make it " Your In My Heart"

love song ~ Kenny Loggins

Just the way you are OR Always a woman to me ~Billy Joel

One time I did Me So Horny

Yeah, that was funny, but it really wasn't worth it. The wife did NOT think it was funny. I wouldn't suggest I like big butts either.

One of my wife's favorites I've ever done for her, and I only do it on our anniversary \You say it best, when you say nothing at all

She does Wind Beneath my wings on occasion , love it.

Well, first you have to figure out which singer you do the best with. For me, I tend to do really well with Garth Brooks songs. You have to be confident enough in the lyrics so that you can keep up easily with the prompts, as well. One trick you can use is if you or a buddy of yours has access to the game Rock Band, there's a sing along part using the mic for the game, which pretty much works like karaoke, so that you can get yourself used to the actual singing bit.

One of the sweetest songs I've heard: The way I am - Ingrid Michealson

The song is simple, perfect, and to the point.

I've always been partial to our wedding song: One in a Million- Larry Graham

Or: Have I Told You Lately- Van Morrison version (not the Rod Stewart cover, heaven forbid).
