Well, if said lesbians are hot, then said men hit on them b/c they stupidly beleive they can "convert" them, or even better get the jackpot of a threesome . Never realizing that in fact some women have chosen to be lesbians precisely to get away from such "pigs."

Seriously, there is a difference between being hit on and being harassed about it. My wife uber hot, gets hit on all the time, no biggie unless the person persists after being told no.

I don't think being a lesbian had anything to do with it. Even if you weren't a lesbian, it doesn't mean you'd be interested in them, and it would have ended the same way. Same thing if a guy hit on girl who was "out of his league" so to speak, some guys just don't take rejection well, and friendship is of no consolation. I'm sorry if you felt you lost a friend, but obviously he wasn't a true friend.

I agree with you it would be annoying either way.

I have no problem with mild, harmless flirting, but being flat out asked to have cybersex with someone I thought was a friend creeped me out.

I don't agree. Not to mention I don't get what Abbey said. The fact is, friends are friends. I have had female friends over the years. The easy answer to keeping them as friends is to play off/keep them at bay if they attempt to transgress. Rarely does it come to push or shove.

The fact is, the OP was posted by a member who takes some sort of offense that the wind isn't blowing her way on the exact day she wants it to. SOme guy probably said "Hi" to her.

Eh, all kidding aside a real man can be friends with a hot woman if for whatever reason sex between them isn't an option, whether that reason is she isn't interested or one or both of them are involved with someone else.

I agree. The fact here though is, Wind Song could take offense at waking up 2 minutes before the alarm goes off, and turn it into a Congressional debate.

Actually, you can sort of blame this on a number of straight women who have used "I'm a lesbian" as an excuse. then of course, you have crowd that believes that all you need is their dick, and BAM! you'll be all about the cock in no time. Then there's the crowd that just wants sex and don't really care otherwise, which is what it sounds like in this case.
